Sonesta Anaheim Resort Area

Room was pretty clean. Staff is friendly, minor things here and there other than that will give it a 9/10 rating will stay here again. Pretty close to Disney. Uber rides were pretty inexpensive

$150 dlls for parking a bit ridiculous to start for being a guest. Hairs on bathroom floor. We had to ask someone to go fix door since it was making “horror movie” noises. Pool was not in service and they were re directing guests to a “close by pool” if we wanted/needed that amenity. When it came for time to room to get service/cleaned, we received a letter that stated and I quote “Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to provide the service today. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Call front desk if you need towels” signed by hotel house keeping . We will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Property was ok but not great. The pictures online are deceptive. The beds are so uncomfortable and squeaky. Very hard with young kids that wake up easy because every turn the bed screams. Some bugs in the room and not much for amenities. The walls are so thin that we got woken up every few hours with people slamming doors and just talking in the room next to us. I won’t stay here again. Too many other choices for the area.

Our stay was wonderful!! The staff was very helpful and super nice. Although they don't provide daily housekeeping, whatever you need and ask for they attend to you right away..the pool was out of service but, they provided the facility just down the street!! Overall we loved our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had no complaints whatsoever. Will be coming back to stay another time.

Clean rooms, staff was friendly, minutes away from Disneyland. Pool was out of order. I would definitely stay here again.

Went there for Disney, the ART shuttle isn’t around anymore so we had to walk. Also had to go to another hotel for the pool since there’s was still out of service. Floors in the room were kind of wet, not sure if it was a leak or not. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Also pretty close to Disneyland so that’s a plus!

The first time I requested for house keeping services, I was told that I had to request it 24 hours ahead of time. I was asked if I did receive the paper that explains this policy during checking, which I had not. So right then I asked for the service for the next day, which again did not happen. I went to the front desk to ask again for house keeping services. She put my request on a paper and said that she will get it done. Still it did not happen. Right before checking out I asked the house keeping staff in the lobby, if they have my request on their list, but they said they did not. So they never bothered to provide us with a fresh towels etc., despite multiple times asking for it. You would think by charging $37 a day for parking, they would not mind splurging on one towel refresh service during our stay. Very disappointing, indeed.

Clean room

Hotel is fine, but there is absolutely no need to charge $32 a night for parking. You’re not even walking distance to anything. Absolutely ridiculous amount. Also they only had 2 ice machines and only one was working. Until they change their amounts to overnight park and not rob you go somewhere else.

The shower splashed water all over the bathroom floor, making a mess. Also, there was a loud noise early in the morning that sounded like a washing machine, which was very annoying.

Staff were very pleasant 😊

The only major downside was the swimming pool being closed without prior notice, So we were unable to change hotels. After a long day at Disneyland it would be nice to cool off in a pool.

Awesome service

The rooms were clean. BUT the pool was out of service. That is what sold us to get the rooms. That was a big disappointment. We were not informed by email or call about the issue. The most the hotel could have done was not charge for parking for inconvenience.

This was a great hotel for the price. A little too far for us to walk to Disneyland but for those who can walk a mile it would be no problem. The hotel was nice, clean and convenient. We will stay here again.

The room was not clean correctly, there was hair inside the tub. the toilet had horrible stains. The shower was plugged and the shower head didn't work properly. The air conditioning thermostat was not working properly. We are not planning to return there. The front desk employees are very helpful and polite.
