Very friendly

We were waiting for the shuttle as instructed at 5:30 am, but the driver showed up 45 minutes late with no apologies. The hotel staff said we would be fine, but we missed the cutoff time for Air Alaska by 3 minutes. So instead of enjoying a planned vacation day in Juneau, we spent the whole day in the Anchorage airport. Chris, who checked us in the previous night was quite helpful and packed us a nice breakfast to take with us. Jennifer, who was working that morning, seemed quite frustrated by the situation but should have told us to bail out earlier. And the Wyndham should certainly refund the $357 we paid FOR ONE NIGHT, but hotel manager Sara says the only thing she could do is give us loyalty points, which would be completely useless since we will never stay at a Wyndham again. I would advise you to avoid this hotel if you are booking it for the shuttle. The drivers apparently are free to show up at their whim and the hotel manager has no control.

The staff were so helpful when we got there! They were able to hold our bags while we waited for our room to be ready and they were able to get us checked in a couple hours ahead of our schedule time.

Airport Shuttle was very good, very helpful driver.

Property is dated. There is musty, mildew smell throughout the hotel and especially in our room’s bathroom. Ownership is cheap and could have at least changed shower curtains regularly. Horrible value for price paid of over $350 per night.
-
Airport shuttle took forever, rooms were gross, mold on ceiling, soap dispensers broken & empty- horrible hotel! Don’t waste your money! This hotel should have been $79 a night- not $400!!!

The facility interior itself was very worn and dirty. A good vacuum and carpet cleaning would be a remarkable difference maker.
-
Plain Jane hotel. Expected more for the price. Free breakfast buffet looked pretty bad so we skipped it.

This was my worst stay for the past 15 years. Cleanliness was the worst among all other categories

Didn’t care for it run down

Our air conditioning did not work. They did put us in another room. The area that the hotel was in was not a good area, we seen bullets on the ground and drug deals happening. Will not stay there again.

The room was pretty dated. There was no shower curtain and the wash cloths and towels were stained. The beds were comfortable. This place is not worth the $425 per night price tag.
-
The WiFi didn’t work very well. I paid for the upgraded internet and it didn’t hardly work. The afternoon front desk guy said there was nothing he could do about it. He was no help to anyone I noticed.

Stayed here one night each time while transiting anchorage this past week. The first time the room was not even ready with old towels lying and the bed not made. On the second occasion, the room was dirty - it had used washcloths that were not removed, stains on the bathroom floor, stains on the curtain, terrible amenities (basic body wash, soap - either unavailable or very low quality, with the hand wash in a bottle that was relabeled with a sharpie!!!!), toilet old/stained, and to top it all the shower drain that was so slow that water kept clogging up. We paid close to $400 a night for this (consistent) mediocre service! Terrible experience overall!

They had just one person at the desk that did not know much. The free breakfast was terrible. Everything was gone by 9 AM. Only thing left was burnt sausage. Luckily I was only there one night.

Do yourself a favor Do not stay in this hotel. It’s not worth your money. Their carpet it’s so dirty and damp. The rooms are creepy and aircon too noisy. It’s very far from the pictures.
-
Room was no clean - dirty washcloth on shower curtain! Toilet is stained brown. Floor has brown black stain and is not clean. Shower does not drain at all well. The hand wash soap is in a container clearly for something else and “body wash” is written with ink!! How absurd! For one night it is not much to ask for a clean bath and room.

Need to renovate the rooms
-
They didn’t clean our room overnight so we had no towels or tissues for our second day. For the exhortation process we were charged, the service suffered

It is an old hotel that looks like it might be trying to renovate. The landscaping is not kept up and the hallway carpet needs a good cleaning. Did not take first “clean” room offered as there was hair in the tub and on the toilet and it looked like someone had been laying in the beds. Second room was better, but everything had a layer of dust and the window/sill had dirt and mold.
