Good location to the train station! Air conditioning worked well all though we could t adjust it. Breakfast voucher for cafe next door was good. Bed is ROCK hard! The fire alarm went off through the night, we started to make our way to the lobby. There was only one person down in the reception who I presumed was staff, I tried talking to him but he was not interested at all. He was too busy watching football and that’s all he was going to do. The alarm ended up silencing itself so we went back to our room. Wasn’t a good look.

Inexpensive and basic hotel very well located for the railway station. The receptionist, Laura, was very pleasant and helpful. The bedding and towels were clean. Good hotel particularly for a night in transit between ferries and trains. The station café and canteen are good places for breakfast and dinner. The decor is basic and showing its age.

Excellent location. Rooms as described. Checked three times for our wake up call..Fortunately we woke up in time and just managed to catch our 5.50am train to Rome . 24 hour reception was snoring loudly as we left. Not impressed..

I spent 4 nights at Albergo Italia. The location is very convenient right across from the train station. My room was cleaned every day. The night light was not working.

Cotton bedding which was clean. Plenty of towels and toiletries. The staff were polite and friendly. The area. The noise from other rooms. The smell in the ensuite bathroom.
