Hotel Della Rosa

Located right across from the train station. The street view had me somewhat concerned but my room was lovely. Crisp white sheets, clean, quiet, good air conditioning, comfortable bed - everything I needed for a comfortable one night stay.

Convenient location near the train station since we arrived by train. Sewage smell from the washroom. AC was underpowered. Kept the room from going over 30C in a hot summer day but didn’t really cool the room. Fridge also wasn’t very effective.

The hotel was beautiful with a great location. They had the best breakfast included ? Kevin, and the whole staff were all great.

This hotel is fine - pleasant decor, spotlessly clean, helpful staff and good breakfast. Also, they were prompt at responding to a query after I'd booked (regarding taxis at the airport - the last train was prior to the arrival of the flight). I like to have a safe in my room, though this didn't matter as I stayed one night only and put my valuables under the mattress! The room was stuffy on arrival, but fortunately the window opened so it was possible to air it adequately.

Nothing Room was a closet, refrigerator did not work, shower was leaking water all over the floor…could not move in this room with 2 people…absolute scam how they are selling it. We left and booked another hotel. They refuse to refund anything. Should not be offered on Booking.com…it’s a dump!!!

This was a modestly priced hotel, conveniently situated opposite the train station--which was essential for the next leg of our journey--offering an exceptional breakfast buffet, (Bacon, eggs, pastries, yoghurt, granola, fruit, coffee, tea etc. ) as well as friendly and and helpful staff. Five star. The room and ensuite appeared to have been freshly renovated and there was ample room and set up to place toiletries and personal items--one of those "little things" so appreciated by the weary traveler but so often overlooked. If we ever return to |Ancona this will definitely be our hotel of choice. Exceptional value for the price. Thank you. Can't really think of anything.

It was close to the train station. There was a nice breakfast included. Wifi was very good. Restaurant recommended was very close and delicious. Walking distance to domes and basilica’s if you like to walk otherwise buses are right in front of the hotel. Had to wait for check-in until 2 pm. I would have liked to freshen up before going out to visit the area but they had an area to place your luggage while we went out. We didn’t realize there were no trains to go to our next destination on the weekends. It cost more than the room to take a taxi.

I was looking for a spot close to the train station to rest after a long day of traveling. Hotel Della Rosa got the bill. Felt safe. Space was clean. Great bathroom. Slept great. Was able to store my luggage before my next train. Thank you

When entering the room there was a very strange smell, but that was the only one inconvenience, everything else was great

Train station and bus stops within few yards from the hotel. Good variety for breakfast - including eggs and bacon but no veggies. Comfortable bed and pillows. Elevator. Enough space in the bathroom, toilet with bidet. 24h reception, staff speaks good English. Tried suggested restaurant - Gino about 50 yards away - good food. Ethnic grocery store nearby - were able to get water and fruits. If you are planning to visit the area by train or bus it is very convenient. Ancona airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. As a single female traveler, I was fine crossing to the station or walking to the bus stop even at night. But… It is quite busy area but after dark it (the plaza) becomes a place where a lot of young and older men from different cultures congregate. Walking to the nearby restaurant I encountered men smoking and gathering in front, but once inside I was fine. I felt safe but just a bit uneasy.

Pleasant staff, opportunity to store baggage, a lift to the room, great shower, comfortable bed and a good breakfast directly opposite the station - everything I needed for a night in Ancona after a ferry trip! I highly recommend this hotel!

Positioning, close to the train station, close to the center. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast! The beds are a bit small. I'm not complaining, I was just making an observation!

Brekfast was good, nice selection. Location was good because it's near the train station and we could travel to the places near Ancona easily. Towels changed and room cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. Sometimes hot water was out and we couldn't get a shower after midnight.

There was no drinks on the room, especially one bottle of water should be there.

Smart, modern hotel close to the railway station. Very friendly reception. Good breakfast and super clean. It was an ideal stop for one night passing through Ancona.
