Breakfast is provided as an extra, the room meets all the expectations, good communication with the host I expected it to be more centrally located, but the bus station that connects the property with the center of Ancona is not far away.

Last minute plumber problem (no toilet, no shower) that required me to free cancel with the owner, hence that required me to find a last minute hotel booking.

The property was located near the train station and walkable to the port. It was easy to get around and the room was super clean!! The breakfast was just OK. Packaged food and fruit that was in the fridge for days. That said, there are so many cafes nearby, this did not bother me at all!!

Clean, quiet, with nice touches like tissues and bottled water at bedside. Steep walk to the centre or check bus timetable carefully because some lines are infrequent or don’t go to your preferred destination (the current ZTL is not large but, as in any Italian town, parking is not easy to find, except directly opposite the B&B). Proprietor (Roberto) is absent, so breakfast is pre-arranged cereals, yoghurt, fruit in fridge etc, quite adequate. He is very responsive via WhatsApp. However, in both bathroom and bedroom the curtains were flimsy. No shutters at all in bathroom so if the light was on at night people on the street could see you. In the bedroom, there were only very old shutters, one of which was chained to the balustrade and it was impossible for me to figure out how to free it. By the time I realized this, it was too late to ask someone to come over to fix it. In any case, convenience and privacy should be taken into account and not rely on a client asking for a late night visit from a stranger to fix chains. Bright light streamed in all night from a basketball court (see photo) and if I turned on the bedroom light anyone outside could see me. Advice: get the shutters working first thing, at the time when you get the keys.

Great location. Could use the air-conditioning if you felt cold (does provide heat too). The apartment is split into 3 sets of living accommodations with a shared kitchen. How comfortable you end up being can depend as much if not more on who you are 'sharing' with than anything else. Say for example if someone checks in at 10.30 pm then you may find yourself privy to the conversation.

It was comfortable and well supplied. It was super clean and comfortable!

Was good and supplemented with ham & cheese by host. Very good coffee by pods Location was a bit away from main piazzas and shops, eateries, and the sea, etc. We did get taxis.

The room and bathroom were clean. The check in and out process were easy. The breakfast was really just a few things, nothing warm. Could have just went to the grocery store and grabbed the same items. The room was very small with no where to put a suitcase. It was a bit farther from downtown than we expected, especially since it’s a fairly challenging walk. The room also did not have a fridge. We had no where to keep our water cold. There were also rules posted about not being able to drink on the property, I wish this would have been communicated before hand.

Perfect for a stop over in Ancona when travelling by rail - very clean , comfortable and a good breakfast provided. Access requires codes which come by WhatsApp - but poor connection once in the building but not the actual apartment meant we couldn't read the required door code! Very helpful neighbour helped - write the code down before you go in!
