First Apart Residence

The location was brilliant - maybe five minutes from Kızılay, which has all the transit options you could want, many, many restaurants in walking distance, a nice park, etc - but is still on a side street, so not loud. I don't think there could be a better location for Ankara. All the sites we wanted to see were reachable by bus in twenty minutes or less, or often even just walkable. Breakfast was great - every day there were options for simit or something more like a french bread, some cheeses, tomatoes, boiled eggs, spreads such as labne, jam, butter, something like nutella, a couple cereal options, tea, olives, and often some greens. A great way to start the day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. For example, my friend needed to get a replacement blade for his razor, and asked for a recommendation - instead one of the staff just went out and got one for him. The apartment itself was comfy, with a nice sofa and chair to hang out during downtime, and a small kitchen that had the perfect setup for making tea, with a refrigerator so we could have some fruit or other small things. The only thing that wasn't ideal was just the thinness of the curtains meant lots of light got into the apartment even at night, so it took a bit to adjust for sleeping.

I was at the third floor, poor wifi there. Weak signal with frequent loss of connection. There was an annoying humming sound from some kind of machinary coming on and off from the ceiling that disturbed my sleep. The rooms have radiators for heating which you can't control. So I had to open the windows to escape the heat, otherwise it would get too hot.

Nice location, big room and cooperative staff. Nothing.

The hotel is a little old but has everything that you need for staying two nights.

When complained about the room, they changed it but after 2 days. Very poor quality of wifi connection.

Located in an area filled with bars and food places but quiet to rest. The room was fairly big, with a comfortable living room and two big bedrooms. As downsides, the breakfast is pretty basic and the shower didn't have a separation from the rest of the bathroom, so you wet everything when you showered.

I really thank my father for choosing this hotel for me. Nothing

Very good location within an upscale neighbourhood of Ankara Nothing

It’s in a very good spot in Kızılay — there many restaurants and shops in walking distance. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was a tear on the shower hose, so a lot of water sprayed out to the side and reduced water pressure.

The Apartment was generally nice. The shower was good and the Reception area was quite attractive. The staff were business-like and fulfilled most requests. The property is located in a good central area and transport is easily attainable. The kitchenette was very sparsely equipped to do any proper cooking; more pans, cutlery and crockery, a toaster, sponges, washing up liquid, paper towels and kitchen towels would be an asset.

Location Rude staff: They were talking with a very condescending tone, like you're their child and they are parenting. Mediocre breakfast: really mediocre. And forget about getting it if you're like a minute late after the official end time. Hospitality doesn't exist in this hotel. Harsh cancellation policy.
