Homewood Suites By Hilton Ankeny

Property was very well maintained, clean and inviting. Lobby had a great feel and you could tell they focused on making sure it smelled good too, not just a clean smell. Breakfast had a great variety and was flavorful. Would highly recommend for an extended stay and bigger kids, the rooms were spacious and easily fit our three very tall teens.

Just very nice Nothing

Breakfast lacked variety & quality. Attention to detail goes a long way and this property could use a little TLC. Rooms are generous in size and the weight room has everything you need. Property is located in a great area and close to everything you need!

I would say it was very nicely decorated, it was clean. The staff of the counter was very nice and told us about the shuttle from the capital down to the state fair. We appreciated that. Only thing is I wish there would’ve been a bar and a restaurant on site. Otherwise it was very lovely No bar or restaurant on site

Overall very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did feel like the breakfast was unimpressive.

The breakfast was satisfying. The staff helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and quite comfortable for a long stay. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The business center was helpful. I was able to print a needed document. The internet connection would drop occasionally.

Exceptional

It was close to the event we were attending. sheet and bedding did not fit the bed; they were too small for the king bed. blanket was too small also. Made uncomfortable to sleep in. Room was supposed to non-smoking, smelled like smoke. at breakfast, the hot items were cold. The pull-out bed was very uncomfortable for our granddaughter. would not stay again.

Business with our son for our pre move to Iowa. Our Eldest Daughter brought our grandkids very and they had a great time in the pool. Employees very professional at the desk as well as the housekeeping.

We loved interacting with Eric. He made our stay fun. The breakfast was full of healthy choices and there was a large comfortable area to relax while enjoying it. Rooms were mostly clean, we didn’t have a bedding set for our pull out couch and there was a dried up dirty wash cloth in the shower. But, otherwise it was very nice. The rooms were comfortable , quiet and spacious.

The breakfast was excellent. It is a very nice hotel. The room was very spacious, but the ONLY complaint is the small ledges on the tub and no towel bar.

Very clean property, room was awesome (big and spacious!), clean. My husband and boys ate breakfast and said it was really good. The only downfall was the pool. The water was cold. My 4 kids (11,9, 6 and 5) look forward to swimming at hotels and they maybe got in for 10 minutes.

This is our 5th time at this Hotel, everything was excellent.

We stayed at this property for several days while visiting family and friends. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was fine for our needs. We will consider staying at this property on future trips.

Breakfast was very nice. Staff attentive to everyone. Food was standard fare plus the fixings for carnita tortillas which was delicious. I hope our travels bring us back to Ankeny!
