Grace Hotel & Studios

Friendly nice people. Clean rooms. Rooms are very small. AC was very old. Remote control was not functioning well (lcd screen not working. Could understand the temperature number).

come here with your eyes closed. that’s what I can say. Yannis the owner was very very helpful. he has done everything in his power to make our stay as perfect as possible. I don’t want to spoil it, but he will help and guide you if needed. the location is great.

There was on overbooking and only one room was available for us and another pair. The owner told us to decide ourselves who is going to stay which put us in a very uncomfortable position. I have booked the room several months before and we were only staying for 2 nights so to change a room for one night would be a big time waste for us. In addition in the last day owner suggested he would take us to ferry. He didn’t have to but then didn’t show up in time. No harm done as we had small suitcases and just walked for 25 minutes.

Very clean not far to walk to harbor Rooms are not as good as photos advertised not delux as we booked but standard , disappointed when you arrived but happy by the time we left due to the lovely Staff family run and Yonnis went above and beyond to help us! We booked sea view which meant a lot of steps!

We like the hotel so much! Its location, the rooms, cleanness is amazing. The owner Yannis is such a great man and was so helpful since the moment we arrived, we really appreciate him for his great suggestions and the help!! The place is in great location - walking distance to everything you need; to the boats, most trend restaurant, to the great ice cream location etc. You’ll get everything you need for a perfect stay in Symi, while you enjoy the perfect scene. We will definitely come back and wouldn’t consider staying somewhere else. Everything was perfect ?

It was the best in every way

Location, helpful receptionist and cleaner There’s so much potential here but a lot of confusion with regards the rooms and their descriptions Did not like the fact that the listings on booking.com are a compilation of many different rooms and building instead of showing what is actually on offer. Had to move rooms several times as the room shown and described did not exist but was several room pictures. Some had the view, others had the living room and kitchen but not all in one/. Thankfully with Booking.com intervention the owner moved us to a very good room in another of his properties. Didn’t like the owner’s son’s rudeness and unwillingness to help at the cafe when we first arrived. There is great potential here. I hope the business will fix these

Very expensive considering just how dated and dirty the room and communal areas were. £220 for two nights :/ I was also allocated a room that we not the one I had booked online.

Great location close to the centre. We were met off the ferry and dropped back also by Yiannis the owner. Fridge and kettle were great to have The shower could have been better but served it's purpose for the few days

Roomy, clean and good air con Confusion with room initially.

First time staying overnight in Symi…. Very different to when I was a day-tripper years ago. The location is perfect… short walk to the port and its many amenities. Our 2 studios were very comfortable, modern, spotlessly clean with great AC and WiFi. Everything you could want was provided, including a hairdryer in the shower room. We did not use the kitchen facilities at all - except the fridge to keep water etc cold. I personally appreciated the tiny balcony for its shade and privacy….Symi is hot even in late September. The staff are exceptional. Yianni, the owner, collected us from the ferry and also left us back when we were leaving. He gave us very useful information (and badly needed water!) when we arrived ….. he was the perfect host. I must give special mention to Anna, who is a mainstay of the establishment. Rooms were serviced every day during our stay and she did everything to ensure we were happy. The “going away” presents of wine and HUGE apples were appreciated. Symi is idyllic….Needless to say… I intend to return to Symi and to Grace Studios. Just go… you won’t regret it! Nothing at all. We were in studios 28 and 29, which have steep steps to their entrance…but a big terrace with great views over the port. If you want a studio on a lower level, you just have to ask Yianni in advance.

Had a good bed and view from shared terrace. Air conditioning inadequate to cool a room with no insulation that got very hot even in September. Room smaller than advertised meaning little space for suitcases and had very small shower/bathroom. No indication on booking that we were in one the studios which are above the hotel and have access up steep stairs Safe did not work and was not fixed. Room generally tired and in need of some maintenance

Grace Studios are basic but clean and functional. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He picked us up and dropped us off from the ferry and gave us lots of advice about things to do. They're located in a great spot just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour in a lovely quiet area without having to walk up lots of steps! The shower curtain doesn't cover the entire shower so you end up with lots of water all over the floor. It didn't bother us too much, we used the bath mat to mop it all up and then put that outside to dry off but I'd worry that elderly people might struggle or slip over.

Good location in Symi but the apartment was difficult to access due to steps and steep stairs. Poor quality of the room and in particular the bathroom. Not as we thought from the pictures looked at prior to booking.
