City House Hotel

This was the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff were dismissive and unhelpful, and the room was completely different from the pictures online. The bed was already broken when we checked in, yet when we reported it just 20 minutes later, the staff accused us of breaking it. Exposed electrical sockets near the bed made the room unsafe, and the bathroom was dirty and poorly maintained. Though it was said to be a non smoking room ,there was cigarettes smell everywhere. Also be cautious as someone tried to enter our hotel room at 4am .The only positive was the central location. If someone only needs a place to sleep and doesn’t care about comfort, cleanliness, or service, then this hotel might be acceptable for the budget — but otherwise, I would not recommend it.

Nothing Disgusting hotel that was extremely unclean and smelled really badly of cigarettes. Only stay here if you are absolutely desperate and there is no other choice. Otherwise, don’t book.

Really good location. The building isn't new. Wifi isn't the fastest but you can check the maps.

The hotel is strategically located right opposite the main entrance to the old city. There are several food stores nearby and lots of cafes and restaurants. A requested transfer was arranged for us from/to the airport. The so-called "family suite" consisted of two spacious rooms with lots of beds and a bathroom. Wi-fi was free and sufficiently fast, the rooms, the linen, and the bathroom were clean, and the double bed was comfortable. Basically, the suite was well-planned originally and had a kitchen, as promised. The suite and the hotel in general are old and very worn out. The walls and doors in the rooms are flaking, broken and malfunctioning. The kitchen had an electric boiler, a hotplate and a refrigerator, but except for two plates, two cups, one spoon, one fork and one table knife there was no kitchenware. We had to go down to the reception and ask for a second set of silverware. No cooking was possible and the refrigerator was half broken, we were able to use only the boiler for making coffee and tea. The second morning we woke without electricity and had to go out to seek hot coffee in the Mcdonalds.

Because the cooling system was not working and we spent all the night with cold weather. Also there were not any blankets as well. So it is compulsory and recommended so that others could make their stay reliable. Overall i would say my satisfaction percentage is 50%.

It is as described. It is comfortable and clean to stay. You are located in the center and close to everything. It is a good budget option. Cigarette smell throughout the building. The building could use an update.

Situated near Hadrian's gate, metro line, Kaleici's old town. Everything was within walking distance The bathroom/washroom was a bit too small. The wash basin also was too small

bed was nice and firm, comfy, with private bathroom, hot water. wifi! aircon. hot water kettle. on site reception. ease of extending my stay an extra day, on the day and in the same room. Teşekkürler. cigarette smoke entering my room from somewhere inside the building. My room doesn't have a window to ventilate, so congested my throat a little from breathing small amounts of it in over several hours

Location: city centre, near street market and old town, 2 minutes walk from tram stop. Nice staff. Keeping your luggage for free after check out. Nice room. Comfortable bed. The building is pretty old. WiFi unstable. No breakfast. (But there's a supermarket just next door).
