everything about this hotel was excellent. gorgeous, stylish, considered, subtle design is evident everywhere you look. every staff member was helpful, friendly and personable. the food was delicious. the location while not being central had amazing transport links (tram, metro and bus) to all the places we wanted to visit. we became super familiar with the tramline number 4. if we return to Antwerp the August will definitely be our hotel of choice. the local area is full of wonderful achitecture to look at and many lovely places to eat and drink within a short walk i have nothing to put in this box. there was nothing to not like in our opinion

The location, the unusual edgy design, sensitive repurposing of an old building, the layout and appointment of the room and bathrooms, in-room amenities, the public areas particularly the bar, close to the tram straight into the heart of the city. Nothing!

Lovely hotel, beautifully designed by Vincent Van Duysen. Clean, minimalistic and comfortable rooms. Calm atmosphere. Dining options looked good too (wish I’d had a chance to try the bar and restaurant). Well outside of the city centre but good opportunity to explore the surrounding neighbourhood, which has beautiful architecture and nice cafe/bars. There is no gym on site - the hotel has a partnership with an adjacent luxury fitness club (not included), but I would’ve liked better value options for a one-off gym session.

Everything specially the staff members !!

Predominantly we thoroughly liked the staff, such a happy bunch of people who show great pride in what they do. Hôtel was clean ( spotless), really well appointed and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great and the bar was super cool. We loved it at August! Nothing to dislike

The architecture is amazing, facitlities are nice, our room was a bit on a smaller size... Location could be more central, customer treatment by staff needs some polishing

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at August. Located in a quiet neighbourhood just a short tram ride from Antwerp’s town centre, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat. The room was very spacious, with Le Labo toiletries, and Vincent Van Duysen’s conversion of the former convent beautifully preserves the building’s historic character The additional €10 room service fee felt unnecessary, as I haven’t encountered this at other hotels in a similar price range. The advertised complimentary access to the gym next door was also misleading, as it still required payment.

It’s a beautiful property that was wonderfully redone and lovingly maintained. The room was clean and spacious, staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place is easily accessible and is a great base to explore the city.

Unique boutique hotel - high quality design and renovation. Nothing to report

Lovely hotel! Great architecture, nice rooms, amazing bar. Sadly we didn’t have enough time to visit the spa and eat at the restaurant. Nothing wrong about the property. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the city center but it’s in a very beautiful and quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful property in a quiet, leafy green neighborhood. Easy access to the city center by tram. Loved our room - very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. Wish we could have stayed several days!

A beautiful designed hotel in a new upcoming trendy location. The rooms are comfortable, a little small. Loved the spacious shower. The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast. From my understanding when booking the partner gym, the brick was included in your stay, only on arrival to find out that its an extra cost of 25 euros pp per visit, a bit disappointing. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
