Rock Lobster City Lodge

Love this hotel! has a very cool and unique style. I stayed in the Icelandic suite and the beds are phenomenal. Top-tier. Adjustable settings for each side. Plenty of restaurants and bars, just outside of the hotel and walking distance to the train station.

Amazing amazing stay, came for Tomorrowland and could not recommend more. Very spacious, great shower/bathroom, and incredible hosts. Extremely accommodating and friendly and they have put so much effort into all the small details of how the rooms are decorated and designed! Would 100% come back.

Bart and Eva are wonderful hosts and there is an intimacy when you first arrive that continues throughout your stay because they share so much of their life and love of music in the memorabilia that is distributed throughout the property and in conversation with their guests. The location is very convenient for the city centre and its attractions but the hotel forms part of a vibrant neighborhood where there are a number of restaurants, coffee bars and local shops around a large square where families gather and children play. The neighborhood is attractive, cared for and safe.

Made to feel very welcome by two kind and friendly hosts.. Lovely laid-back atmosphere. Very ecological. Amazing breakfast. The area is beautiful and not at all touristy. Having to go down to the kitchen to make tea. Kettles in the room would be good. But that's because I'm half English and need to have two cups of tea before I get out of bed!

Such an incredibly interesting and cozy place! The room was lovely, with a surprisingly spacious bathroom. It’s not just a hotel — it’s a place that makes you want to keep discovering more and more. And meeting Bart was truly an honor; what an amazing person!

It’s not only an accommodation. An unusual poetic & musical experience is included in the package. Bart & Eva are not only brilliant and caring hosts, but also very inspiring and witty people.

I liked everything! Starting from the very first email contact before arrival and then during check-in. I was welcomed by the very friendly Bart, who, during our short conversation, picked up on everything I needed and helped me with all of my questions (which is a rarity even in five-star hotels). The room was very original and clean, just like the rest of the hotel. In the morning you are treated to an excellent breakfast and a pleasant, unobtrusive conversation with Bart, who gives you advice on any questions you may have, and the funny parrot Ricky, who, as soon as you sit down at the table, immediately asks for his portion of tomato and then eats it with great appetite, chirping something as a sign of gratitude to Bart :) Bart, thank you so much for your hospitality and enlightening conversations. P.S. Next time I decide to visit Antwerp, my only concern will be to make sure Rock Lobster has available rooms. Warmest Regards, Zaur

On behalf of our group,, I can’t say enough good things about the hotel and the wonderful hosts Bart & Eva. Could not have been more kind, helpful, thoughtful or flexible. The hotel is superb,, so much amazing care and thought has gone into every detail. The rooms and dinning/lounge are awesome and location perfect. I wish I could keep this one to myself, but they should be booked full every night,, they deserve it. Can’t wait to return. Thanks. Law.
