Flora hotel is a beautiful place, an oasis, right in the middle of the old town Antwerp. You do not hear any noise, crowd or any party people. It has beautiful courtyard garden where you can relax and we had our morning breakfast. Arrival drink was a nice gesture. Our room was beautiful and it had several spot lights but lighting was not good. The room and the sink need better diffused light. The room also needs tissue paper.

Very charming hotel, excellent location, fantastic staff. The individual chef-prepared breakfast was an outstanding touch.

It was the most perfect choice for our stay in Antwerp. Everything about it was magnificent from the stunning decor to the food and most of all the team members. I didn't even want to leave the hotel to explore! Perfect place to unwind, be catered to and know you have a gorgeous place to come back to at the end of the day.

Multiple charming common spaces, including a lovely garden. Quiet and secluded yet steps away from the city center.

It is very comfortable and full of arts and pleasure. Peter, Stephane and all the other staff make us feel like at home. It is amazing that the hotel was originally built in the 15th and the amenities are quite impressive. And the location is perfect for people love to walk and see the attractions. It might be nicer to put two bottles of complimentary water for two people in the room in stead of one.

The staff made us feel so welcome and at home, and the breakfast was truly incredible. Made with so much care and love. The hotel is decorated beautifully and is very luxurious. It was a home away from home, very relaxing. From the moment we were greeted with a cocktail and freshly baked madeleines to the moment we left, it was wonderful and I would definitely stay again if in Antwerp. The location is perfect, right in the centre but on a quiet street. Our room (Agate) overlooked the pretty courtyard garden. Every morning it was a joy to wake up there and go down to see what was on the menu for breakfast that day. We also enjoyed relaxing in the lounge area one evening with a drink and played chess by the fire. We stayed in the beautiful Agate room. We are not that tall (I'm 175cm and my partner is 180cm), but it was very easy to hit our heads on the low doorframe for the toilet. We were warned about it, but it was still easy to do, especially in the night. If you are very tall you might want to book a different room. Because the hotel building is old, the steps up to the Agate room were also quite steep. If you are less mobile then another room in a different part of the hotel might be more suitable for you. We were ok, but we are relatively young, and the hotel staff took our cases to and from the room upon check-in and check-out. The lighting around the mirror in the hallway was quite dark, it would benefit from a light above it. None of these things would stop me from staying at Flora again, it was delightful and worth every penny.

The staff welcomed us with the offer of a drink or cocktail, and gave us tips for sightseeing. They were so hospitable! The bags were taken to our room and there was a choice of softer or firmer mattresses. The interior decor was very nice, not overbearing. What was exceptional was the room opened onto a view of their back garden, with the sound of birds in the morning. The room was quiet, even though it is located in the city centre. The breakfast was exceptional. We were offered a table to reserve for breakfast, in the orangery, which was beautiful to begin the day in. The breakfast itself was exquisite, with selections of hot and cold, savoury and sweet dishes, accompanied by fresh juice and hot drinks of our choice. Overall a romantic and relaxing stay, with a welcoming and attentive service! All excellent

The hotel is hidden away from the noise and provides a peaceful haven, beautifully decorated and with the most caring and serviceable staff. Peter was such a delight from beginning to end to help me prepare a birthday surprise. His recommendations were very thoughtful and his execution of everything was a masterclass. We really appreciated that he was always so happy and welcomed us with a big smile. The Ruby room was spectacular, so cosy, and the breakfast was undoubtedly the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. I wish I could give more than 10 stars. I have nothing to say here
