Veggie Not all areas were scrupulously clean

Location was a short walk to the centre, down a relatively quiet street, and garage parking was available (you must pre-book). The room was clean, with a big bed, and modern shower, which was surprising for such an old building. The man who checked us in was friendly and upbeat. The fan in our room was broken, and in 30+ degree heat, it didn’t go unnoticed. The stairs are steep and narrow and we were staying on the 3rd floor. It would have been nice if the man checking us in helped carry at least one bag when showing us the room. Consider fly traps over the windows. Because the nights were very hot and we had no working fan in the room, we had to leave the windows open. Which meant we had to spend the night being eaten by mosquitos.

The location is in a lovely part of town, felt very safe also coming back in the middle of the night. The room looks lovely, everyhting was clean and they have a wonderful lavender soap. The shower and bathroom are just separated from the room with a semy see-through wall, but there are also extra toilets in the hallway if you want more privacy. I got bedbugs, so unfortunately that cancels out all of the good things.

We did not have breakfast here. The host was unkempt in both dress and manner . He was more evidently interested in our eating there than in being a BnB host. He explained Ned when we arrived that we wouldn’t see him unless we needed something and we didn’t. But around 1.am the footfall in the room above our heads woke us and it was difficult to go back to sleep with lights going on and off .

It is a spacious apartment at a nice location for exploring Antwerp. There is a park nearby with a large playground. There is a Jumbo supermarket around the corner. We visited with two small children. The TV with access to streaming services (use your own subscription) is a huge plus. The kitchen has plates and knifes. It was warm inside, the windows do open, and the fan is a nice addition. The couch bed was a bit uncomfortable if you are not a small child, but ok for one night. You hear the neighbors walking around quite loudly in the evening. It is how these buildings are I suppose. The bathroom is small, but again OK for one night. Three flights of small stairs was hard with kids and stuff and strollers.

It was very clean and cozy, the location is pretty good and there is a jumbo 1 minute away. Also very nice staff. The bathroom - the door was broken and would not close and the bathroom itself needed renovation. Also it is very small.

I don’t have words to describe the terrible experience I had. I spent €609 on a very poor apartment that had no proper facilities to accommodate a person. The owner charged me €160 for towels, and there wasn’t even soap in the house to clean or wash dishes. I’m very disappointed. My money should have been fully refunded. I will never make a reservation through this website again because it cannot be trusted. I was treated very badly. My room was delayed, and when I arrived, everything was in terrible condition — both the room and the studio were very unhygienic. I have photos and videos. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. They complained about the dishes I left dirty, but there wasn’t even any soap to wash them. They also complained about the towels I left dirty — there was a washing machine, but again, no detergent available. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The owner is extremely rude and unreasonable. There is no support available to help you. I do not recommend it, and I say this sincerely — I am not being picky or demanding.

Clean bedroom, clean towels and linnen. Water and coffee available. I informed that my arrival time would be between 22:00 and 23:00. Received a message back from an AI channel saying "no problem, our staff will be informed". I reserved a parking spot via their digital system, as instructed. At arrival I contacted them to ask where the parking was. Only got answers from AI saying that someone would come to the Building to help me. Nobody showed up. I called the "number for emergencies", informed by them, Nobody picked up after 5 attempts. After 30 minutes waiting outside, Only getting answers from AI, I decided to enter and leave the car on the street. Once inside, a staff member opened one of the bedrooms door and helped me with the garage. 4 stairs stores to climb (luckily I didn't have any heavy bag); the bedroom smelled a bit like food.

Comfy bed, spacious bathroom and wonderful food supplied at the small restaurant downstairs. Head Chef is awesome ! Could have done with a little information supplied in rooms for those who don't have a smart phone or access to the portal due to network connections( not everyone chooses to access their mobile data), for example Wifi Network & Passcode how the restaurant works, how to book or whether you can walk in. Perhaps a couple more options to the menu, outside of the Set Menu (especially the main course) It is not clear on the portal, when reserving a dinner reservation as to the time that you are booked for....

Room was well heated and spacious. Wooden floors in the building, which means you hear guests upstairs walking up and down. Room could have had a private entrance as it was quite noisy when other guests would pass your room, as we were close to the entry door of the B&B. The stairs to our room was very steep and with our heavy luggage (relocating), it was not ideal. The kitchen was self-catering but lacked basic necessities, such as dishwashing liquid, a cloth to wipe counters, salt, pepper, oil, etc. Not ideal if you are just visiting the city and then have to purchase items like that to make food for a few days.

It was an amazing stay, I highly recommend, will come back again. I loved the atmosphere that was very relaxing and at the same time charming, location not far from the center and hospitality of people working there - everything was great. Definitely a special place to be at.
