From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with traditional Sri Lankan hospitality , made us feel at home, room was spacious and comfortable. Nothing much, just the staff is exceptionally good Property is not how it looks like in the website, also it is shocking to know that the breakfast is starting at 0800am. But I must say staff was absolutely nice and helpful, specially Ms Achini who was assisting in the breakfast service

I stayed at Hotel White House during my trip to Anuradhapura and was pleasantly surprised! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly—always ready to assist with a smile. Special shoutout to Hirusha and the front desk team for making check-in smooth and helping us arrange tuk-tuks and local guides. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a good-sized bed and decent Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the elevator and ample parking, which you don’t always find in mid-range hotels here. Breakfast was a nice mix of local and Western options, and the restaurant had a cozy vibe. The pool and gym were great extras—I didn’t expect that level of facilities for the price! The location is pretty central, just a short drive to the main heritage sites and close to supermarkets. There were a few minor things like dated bathroom fittings, but nothing that really took away from the overall experience. Definitely recommend for couples, families, or anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay with genuine hospitality.

Food was also super delicious and quantity is more than enough for us Value for money location is also in the middle of the city Window was open by mistake or something I found that late evening so we were not able to sleep because of mosquitoes. Mindful of that.
