Baan Bandalay Hotel

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and well furbished. Good location and walking distance from eateries, 7-eleven, bike rentals etc. The hotel even has a cafe which makes it very convenient. We had such a pleasant stay here, definitely would recommend.

Clean room, convenient location. The photos of the room that I booked showed a great view from the terrace and that's why I booked it. However, the actual room had no view, it was facing the wall of the next building. When I mentioned that to the check-in staff, she said that she is not going to rent us the room because I might leave a bad review! She asked me to cancel the room. We were otherwise ok with the room so we said we will still take the room but it took over 10 minutes to convince the hotel check-in to let us stay! The lady was very rude and insisted we should cancel. I have never had an experience like that with any hotel. We interacted with other hotel staff and they were very friendly and we have not had problems during our stay. Just keep in mind that the photos of the rooms are very likely not going to match your actual room! FYI - the hotel charges 4% fee for credit card payments.

We had a family room where there was an extra bed. This made our stay more comfortable. We liked having the extra space. If lots of people were using the shower, you would not get much hot water at all.

Very comfortable, spacious room with comfortable beds, good location, many restaurants and shops nearby. Beach is like 15mins away by walk. I’d choose it again.

restaurant available in front of the hotel. there is no sidewalk to the main road and beach, so you have to play frogger in traffic. also they charge rental of beach towels and a security deposit too.

The staff was not bad but it was not incredible good, just there if you need them.

Minor detail: the building is on multiple floors and there is no elevator

The room was very beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with a stunning view. The beach is just a short walk away, which was very convenient. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations — highly recommended!

Location, close to very great Kodam kitchen restaurant, good value for money, good for short stays (2-3 nights), a little bit old and may require some renovation Young woman at the reception not very helpful and not friendly, seems like she doesn't like this job at all, from the other side a man is an opposite, kind and interested in helping guests No breakfast option available

Balcony, clean and spacious

Very nice staying. The room is big and clean. Even better than in picture. Close to the center, you can walk. Recomand this place. Everything was nice.

The room was nice when walking in. However, the balcony was not as in the pictures. A very narrow one with seats next to each other. Also the smell from the bathroom/tubes was not pleasant after a shower. Also de towels were old with holes/stains. Besides that, good location at walking distance from local restaurants and the centre. The restaurant at the hotel is not recomendable. The food is less tasty and more pricy in comparison.

Nice hotel which was clean everywhere including the room. Room was big and had all the amenities you would need - we enjoyed the complimentary fruit and water in the room. Also had a good and cheap laundry service. Walkable to the centre in 10 mins. Not much to dislike - would recommend to stay here
