The hotel asked when we would arrive and we had indicated between 9-10pm. Our bus was delayed by an accident but not by much. Before getting in the taxi I messaged the hotel and told them we were arriving soon. They said welcome. We arrived at about 10:15pm and they told us there was no room available. We had to find a hotel last minute with 3 kids in a Saturday. Absolutely horrible experience and would not suggest taking this kind of risk by using booking.com

Private parking and easy booking The room downstairs was very outdated. The room door didn’t close properly and therefore we could hear everything that was happening in the reception.

The staff were so accommodating especially considering we arrived from Bogotá after midnight. A nice employee welcomed us in and showed us our room within 5 min of our arrival. The breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, cheese, bread, an arepa, and your choice of coffee or hot chocolate. Really the rating is the value of what you get for what you pay - Hotel el Bosque is an incredible find for a budget traveler. Would definitely recommend staying for one night if that's what your itinerary calls for. our mattress in 612 was caving in in the middle. Mattress probably needs to be flipped. could use a night stand lamp or something less harsh than the bright room light attached to the ceiling.

Very clean. Great breakfast. Coffe and tea making facilities in the lobby. Comfortable beds and decent location. Hot water in the showers. No smoking area so you have to go outside which is not so pleasant at night.
