Let's start with positive things: - good location if you want to be near the track - the staff is friendly - the room was clean - The breakfast is decent - The price is appropriate Didn't expect to enter the room from the outside (like a bungalow). Old building and when you enter the room there is some kind of smell. The mattress was to soft. The bathroom door handle was broken.

Perfect hotel for a stop over, restaurant and food were excellent and the staff were too.

Great location. We didn't realise it was motorcycle race weekend so it was very busy. If you want to be close to the race track you are within walking distance. The hotel room was beautiful and so much bigger than we realised we had everything we needed. It was lovely and clean.

Staff, we're friendly, atmosphere was great, beds were so comfortable, just what uou need when travelling a nearly 600 miles in one day. Food was great too. All was great no complaints

Restaurant not operating but we understood because of the time of year. However, they did offer a good alternative.

Nice clean room, as expected. Love the location next to the lake which was great for an evening walk There were some works on the grounds at the time but I expect these are now complete

Superb

Not much. Building work was being completed during our stay so dust, noise and disruption from the tradesmen. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and were less than impressed by the menu. I had a pizza which was almost inedible, pizza base appeared to be made from cardboard. The topping was the minimum amount of tomato purée with two slices of ham and a layer of ‘plastic’ cheese. May well have been microwaved, absolutely tasteless. All in all, quite disappointing.

The evening meal was good as were the staff on duty in the restaurant. The breakfast selection was poor. Other hotels did more of a selection. The room was noisy and you could hear televisions and talking etc.

The evening meal and breakfast choices were good and value for money. The staff were helpful and keen to assist. The property backs onto the lake and a park, or let the kids let off steam, and you need some exercise after a long drive; it's very pleasant. Unfortunately, some work is being done to replace a fire escape; as it is near completion, it is likely to return to normal access in a couple of weeks.

Receptionist moved me to ground floor room when I explained that I would not be able to carry my case up the stairs to my original room. Lovely lake for short walk in the evening Breakfast was good. Evening meal was satisfactory if you chose the simpler options: however this was on a Sunday evening.

Basically we have stayed at the Campanile Arnage many times and always enjoy the location and the general environment which is great following a long day in the car. What we are not happy about is the general condition of the outside areas which are not currently being maintained to a descent standard. This probably is largely due to the refurbishment work that has been ongoing for the past 6 months or so. Although we understand that the business does have to complete upgrade work, the contractors should be managed better. For us, its unacceptable for building materials to be left randomly around the site, not only is it unsightly but its also potentially dangerous. Equally, the grass verges and lawns are not being cut regularly which is a shame given that we have previously seen the site well looked after and pleasant to visit. Hopefully these comments will be acknowledged and steps taken to put the hotel back where it was quality wise when we first started staying there. The untidy exterior areas. Lawns not cut and building materials everywhere.
