Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville by IHG

The only problem was not enough plugs and having to walk through dark hallways to the lobby. There wasn’t an easy way to get to the lobby, restaurant and pool area.

Good comfortable beds.

I have never done a review on a hotel before but I feel like this one is needed. This resort had bugs in two rooms. The first room that we went to, I noticed hair all on the bed so I pulled back the covers to see if it was hair under the blanket.m, just to find hair AND bugs. The second room the same exact thing in the same exact hall. I don’t think the workers are actually changing the linen, just looking at them and using the same linen, bc under the blanket at the foot of the bed, there was dirt. Tissue was left in the trash can in one room and the other room hair was all in the sink. When we called the front desk, they were so impolite. The supervisor that came to the room was so dismissive and nonchalant about the issue. Very horrible experience and I pray no one else has to experience what we experience. I also pray that they get better staff that cares about the cleanliness of the rooms.

Rooms were clean but the bathrooms are so tiny. Rooms were dark and dated.

Clean room good location

location is not what is advertised. huge construction next to resort.

I stayed here last year and loved it! Very clean, very friendly staff and good amenities.

It was a nice solo stay.

Shuttle bus into town was a great add on and very efficient Great stay all round

Over all it was an okay place to stay. The bathroom was incredibly small. We were not aware they sold part of the property even though they have pictures still up in their listing. The one pool they had left was small and couldn’t get in because of the amount of people. Needs updating

The room was very clean. You have to ask to have it cleaned/refreshed during your stay.

I like the patios and the pet friendly servicen

The exit to the hotel a little tricky.

We just needed a place to sleep for one night and this was good for that. The lobby area was nice and fun mountain themed, appeared clean. The service checking in was easy and pleasant. Walking to our room, the further we got from the main hotel the faster it went downhill. Just old and musty appearing. The room was clean, but very basic, carpet appeared old, etc.. the hallways to the rooms were depressing, etc..

Great property. Very friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Nice pool. Comfortable bed. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. AC woke us up going on and off because the fan wouldn’t stay on continuously
