no bar for shower, no soap dishes for our soap and shampoo, also door locked, could not get in for time they were having breakfast. Had to go elsewhere for breakfast. If you need a place to sleep, it was good, but anything else, may want to look for another place.

Not sure if we misunderstood the staffer that greeted us, but we missed breakfast. We thought breakfast started at 8am, but the dining area was dark and locked at 8:30am.

The room was very nice for a motel. The landings and steps were crumbling apart. The bathroom had spackle on the door and walls with nothing seemingly being repaired. The paint job in the bathroom looked like someone just took a roller and randomly put strokes on the wall. The breakfast was minimal but not bad and we had no maid service in the three nights we spent there. The place was inexpensive so it was acceptable. bed was comfortable but worst pillows I've ever had in a hotel. big screen TV but no local channels. Only what Samsung provided and you could punch in your streaming service info. Very good location. If you need to spend time on the premises, I'd say no. But if you're out and about, I'd say yes.

The actual room was clean, besides some spiderwebs and spiders in the bathroom ceiling corners. The location was a little sketchy with lots of homeless people wandering the streets and area, which made us feel weary about leaving some of our stuff in our car (we were road-tripping and needed to leave some of our stuff in the car by necessity). There was also no one at the front desk when we arrived and it took awhile to check-in.

The motel didn't shine quite as brightly as the pictures suggest. I suspect as they continue to renovate they'll be able to make improvements.

Adorable hotel. Obvious re/construction going on, but nothing that was an impediment to our stay. Free parking, and car felt secure (I wouldn't leave valuables out in the open in the car, but then who would?). We came up for a friend's wedding, and spent half as much (or less) as everyone else. The only real downside was that the ice machine didn't work, or at least wasn't working the times I checked. I think it might have been needing to go into defrost mode more often than usual, due to it being outside. It wasn't a problem for me, because I had brought a small cooler for our trip and could buy ice across the street at Ingles. If we had been there for more than 2 nights, this would have been a more serious issue. As it was, for the price and location, I was more than satisfied.

The path to the room was worn, concrete patches breaking up, paint peeling. Sad exterior. The cockroach greeting us IN the room was… regrettable. As was a prior guest’s pubic hair left in the bathtub. The SUPER LOUD HVAC unit, while it worked, made sleeping harder than it needed to be. This place probably looked great 5 years ago. I hope they can turn it around. Soon.

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate a family member’s 50th birthday and reserved nine rooms for the weekend. Prior to our arrival, we requested use of the breakfast area and outdoor patio for a gathering of 35 people. The hotel was exceptionally accommodating, allowing us access throughout our stay. Despite the size of our group, the staff ensured all our needs were met. Given the reasonable pricing, convenient location, and outstanding service, I highly recommend this hotel.

Front end clerk was very friendly when I arrived. My stay there was nice. Great open rooms not small. Perfectly located near lots of local eatery's to go visit. Definitely will choose this place again 🙂

From the pictures this place looks clean and comfy. But you cannot rely on pictures. I should have vetted the reviews more than I did. I took plenty of pictures. Holes in the ceiling that were patched, the bathroom door was half painted and almost punched in? Wouldn't use the shower, it had no drain cover, hair in the tub and a huge spider web in the window with of course a giant spider. Upon arrival after paying for the room I was charged another 100$. That might be normal but I was under the impression I had booked and paid for the room well in advance. We got room 223, and after getting there and rereading reviews we realized all the complaints were about OUR room. You would think if people were complaining about a specific room, youd fix, and clean it. Or at the very least not let guests use that room. Other than that, not a lot of guests so we had the place somewhat to ourselves, door locked and no noise complaints or sketchy people hanging around.

The Beaucatcher was a good, budget-friendly place to stay during my quick visit to Asheville. The room was dated, the floors felt a bit unclean, the breakfast was lacking options, and coffee wasn't available until breakfast was served at 8:00 am (and I'm an early riser!) However, the bed was comfortable, it was close to downtown Asheville, and it was affordable.

I've stayed here before and would stay here again. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, easy access to beautiful downtown Asheville. Courtyard is lovely, lots of flowers!

Good location Had no water for half a day, beds were super hard, not very clean, only one person on staff that we met was friendly.

The room was clean! Needs updating!

The location was great right by restaurants and close to downtown. The balcony was comfortable and relaxing at the end is the day. The staff was super nice and helpful with anything requested. Was really a great experience and would stay there again.
