B&B Il Chiostro

This B&B us located inside ASSISSI! Walking distance to everything from the St, Frances Cathedral, St. Chiara Church, grocery stores, cafes, bars, panoramas. So much to do and the location was so central to our enjoyment Add to that the hosts who provided wonderful guidance and food (of course!) and beautiful gardens to enjoy sitting around in the early morning and evening hours. Our journey was made absolutely top notch by the location, hosts, and convenience. Exceeded expectations in every way. The weather was hot, the breeze in the garden and the great air conditioning helped. We spent nearly all our time exploring and sitting in the nearby piazza in the evening enjoying gelato and watching the local families.

The BNB location proximity was very good. The owner was very hospitable! The WIFI was not good in the room! It did not work!

Location

The location is delightful. You walk out the door directly on an amazing view of the valley below. I loved staying in the old town. So quaint! And the best gelato place in town is a few feet down the street. Breakfast here was very good and the hostess is so sweet and friendly. We were able to communicate through my broken Italian and lots of good will and hand gestures. A/c and shower worked great! The bed and pillows feel old. The bed was actually comfy but the pillows were rough.

Location is fantastic within easy reach of everything. The hosts are great - loving and caring. Spent time chatting with the owner which helped with my Italian ? I ate way too many homemade (by the host) pastries - absolutely delicious. I felt very much welcome and at home. The accommodation is excellent. My room had access to a private beautiful garden. Overall, a very good experience. ?

The hostess, Tiziana, was lovely and helped me carry my luggage up the stairs. The continental breakfast is a lovely spread with lots of Italian food. The view from my room was fantastic - right across the Umbrian plains and I could also see Santa Chiara. The air conditioning is good and very quiet, which makes it easy to sleep. The garden is lovely, but bring your insect repellant. Everything was fantastic, bed could have been slightly more comfortable, but that was a very minor thing.

Great location with nice garden. A very friendly host (though doesn't speak english and I don't know italian). The room was clean and comfortable. Overall I highly recommend it and would go back here again.

Charming place with very warm and helpful hosts.I got to check-in early,which made my day on a chilly,rainy weather.My room (Francesca) had a gorgeous view to the valley and was delicately decorated.The location is perfect:easy to find,no steep climbing required, right at an entrance to the old town.I got to store my bike safely in the garden. The doors have no sound proofing so you better hope that other guests are quiet and keep quiet yourself.Some might find the bathroom (too) small,but I thought it was okay,and had a good shower.

Fantastic B&B. The owner Tiziana couldn't have been more accommodating. We loved everything about this place. Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect.

Hosts were excellent, location, cleanliness all good. I was traveling alone and I did not know that I would be the only person in the building. Host did not sleep on site and no other room was occupied almost all the nights I was there. It was creepy having to enter a dark empty building after an evening activity. For this reason, I will not stay there again.

The property was in a great location. Steps from St. Clare Church! There were a lot of steps and it was difficult bringing up our luggage. Probably not a good place for elderly people who can’t clime stairs.
