We loved the location and the spotless room. Breakfast had a variety of items including fresh squeezed orange juice.

We came to Assisi for our daughter’s wedding and Hotel Fontebella was perfect - beautiful view, very clean, perfect location, great breakfast and the staff was great - especially Stefano - he made our stay so much better! He was so kind & helpful - things went so smoothly because of him! We couldn’t have done this without him - he deserves a promotion!!!

Loved the location. Very clean. Nice view. Comfortable bed and clean. Bathroom was very nice too. A bit noisy. Not much. Very nice staff! My suitcase was heavy to drag from bus up the hill to the hotel. Would be nice to have a solution for that especially for a 68 year old woman traveling solo. The lift didn’t go all the way down to my room. Hard to get luggage down stairs and then back up, 2-3 flights. I finally asked one of the male staff there to bring it up the stairs after I checked out on my last day.

Great location for exploring Assisi. We had a view of cityside. Lovely lounge room to relax in . Elevator good. Breakfast very nice with great choices. Shower over bath tricky to get in and out.

This was my third stay at this wonderful hotel. The first stay was 16 years ago and I requested a room looking out to the countryside of vineyards and olive trees, and our room was beautiful. Thank you again for reserving our rooms with 180 degree views as they were perfect. Fabulous staff. As we had two small babies, a 1 and 2 year old we needed warm milk in the morning and at night. The staff happily provided us with milk for the children for which we were so grateful. The breakfast area and extensive choices of food were magnificent. The view from the breakfast room was spectacular. The hotel allowed us to drive up to the front door and unload our luggage which was very helpful. This hotel has the Best location to visit the cathedral and shop. There is nothing I can think of to improve on.

Location Air conditioning controlled by staff. Refused to turn on when asked. Restaurant was awful. Food/coffe cups ran out Bathroom had high tub to enter

Location was great. I was in an older room with an oddly sunken tub and rigged shower that got everything wet. All my friends were in updated rooms with views that seemed much nicer.
