The size of the room and bathroom was good. The rooms were quiet, although this may have been because there were not many guests at that time. There was flexibility with breakfast times. The location is close to the road. An electric kettle is missing in the room, and it is a paid service. The air quality around the hotel during the cold season is not the best due to smoke from heating stoves in private homes nearby. There is no ceiling light in the room, so it can be a bit dark at night. The shower shelf for soap and shampoo had some rust on it, and the shower door had stains from soap and hard water, which spoiled the overall impression.

THE BREAKFAST - was peculiar to Western needs and tastes - The proforma menu selection did not always ring true - The food itself was very tasty and the gallons of tea were hot and deliciously refreshing. The breakfast room was clean, comfortable, bright and very welcoming. The door frames extend over the floor area - that took quite a bit of getting used to and I tripped several times, once bruising my arm quite badly.

Great staff. Ladies, thank you so much! Half-day booking option - early check-in or late check-out for half price - super convenient. Clean and spacious extra-large double room. Comfortable bed (though not a real double but two single ones together). Convenient bathroom with large sink counter and toiletries. Hot water all the time, electrical towel drier, robes and slippers. Mini-fridge is convenient. Very warm room with radiators on in autumn. We liked their breakfast. Basic like eggs, porridges, pancakes but cooked straight to your table. We liked it cause they cook very well and it was fresher than common buffets. Laundry service for some very okay money (1 euro for a t-shirt, 2 euro jeans). The hotel feels quiet and peaceful (though it's popular and there were many guests). We liked it ? Nearby: banks, document centres, as well convenient stores, bakeries, bbq restaurants . Large supermarkets a bit further. It's far away from the city centre, but taxies are cheap. We personally recommend 1) Great local bakery along the small street straight across the hotel. Even coffee was decent there (otherwise good coffee is available only in Western style coffee shops). 2) Ogonek restaurant, same street as hotel, two blocks to the right when you step out of the hotel doors. Quick service, large wooden terrace, delivery, cheap alcohol. Matter of taste but we enjoyed duck bbg, kuyrdak (stewed meat) and french fries - awesome. 3) Take-away bbq next corner to the left from the hotel. It looks like a so-so restaurant but take-away bbq was fresh and delicious and super cheap. 4) Flat bread bakeries nearby, too. Wi-fi in the room was spotty sometimes. No complains but some wishes to the hotel. Would be nice to have one more chair in the room - at the desk, another trash bin in the room (not only in the bathroom). And electric kettle would be convenient, too.

Staff was very rude. There is Swedish breakfast they said. I had breakfast 9.15am but there was nothing everything has finished. if porridge finish they do not bring other one.

Girl with short hair on reception desk was very rude. We were treated as if we were her enemies. Hotel isn't worth it. Average hotel. Rude staff. Too noisy rooms - you can hear cars outside on the busy road. There are better options for such price in the city.
