The unique design of the hotel. Breakfast which is al a carte and not buffet hence more practical and customised. Staff is very helpful and well informed. No gym. Charges for young children are very steep. They treat them like adults. I had to pay 40 USD per night extra for 7 YO and 10 YO kids. After couple of nights one starts feeling clautophobic due to the design which has no ventilation except the one done by Room air con.

Cleaning was late everyday (until 2 or 3 pm). No one to help with the bags or luggage

⸻ The hotel itself is really nice. The rooms are comfortable, the location is convenient, and the breakfast is amazing with lots of variety and quality. Unfortunately, the greenhouse effect in the room completely ruined our stay. The top floor glass walls trap heat all day, and with the AC not working in winter, the room started at 25 degrees Celsius and kept rising to 29 degrees. After a lot of back and forth, they provided a fan, but even leaving it on all day did nothing. We could not enjoy the view we paid for because the room was too hot to stay in. The hot tub was lukewarm at best, which was another disappointment after a long day of exploring. It is a shame because the hotel clearly has a lot going for it, but these comfort issues completely overshadowed the positives. Other reviews mention the same heat problem, so it seems the hotel knows about it but has not fixed it. Unless you visit when the AC is functional, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The beautiful design and great breakfast are not enough to make up for a room you cannot actually stay in comfortably.

Overall, everything was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel, service, and facilities met our expectations. The only issue was with the room temperature — the air conditioning was not working properly and did not cool the room, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, everything was excellent.

Amazing hotel at a convenient location. Breakfasts are unmatched and plenty. Service team is very well trained. Spa is small but clean and cozy. Can’t complain about a thing. 3 good restaurants in the same building, we only ate at line brew - 10/10.

The location was central but a little odd, not walkable and even taxis took a little more time to come due to traffic and access. Staff at the steakhouse were not very welcoming but it's probably an external restaurant.
-
Close to restaurants Strange layout inside the room. Water sink is in the main area of the room and VERY small. Towels are in another corner of the room! Very far from the sink and from the shower. No hooks to hang towels!

Luxurious place with a great spa and great restaurants.

Loved the design of the place, how conveniently it is located, beautiful view from the room, spacious room, comfy bed, great products in the bathroom, delicious breakfast. The only aspect that put me off was the lack of assistance at the lobby entrance/exit. While carrying two suitcases, no one offered help, and I had to manage opening the doors and lifting my luggage over the doorstep on my own. At a five-star hotel, I would expect that level of service both at the start and the end of my stay.

Breakfast and interesting design of the hotel Beds are very soft and extremely uncomfortable, after 3 days I had backache They told me "temporarily hot water will not be available" in the end it was not available for 4 days. They didn't offer anything to make up their fault, when I approached they said "cancel your booking, we can make you a discount". They have zero interest in customer, they just don't want to receive negative comments.

Perfect location, offbeat design, great service Just one thing - AC is too noisy
-
Sunrise light from the curtains side was annoying ( 5 stars hotels must be perfect), especially in Astana the sunrise starts very early, for breakfast they give a menu with limited choices and first time in my life faced this issue, no open buffet as in all other hotels even in 2-3 stars hotels. I don’t advice

The architecture of this luxury boutique hotel is striking, with an imaginative design and unconventional elements. The hotel features three restaurants, two of which I have tried and was quite happy with, and there is a nice spa on the third floor—with three different kinds of sauna. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location generally requires a taxi or other motorized transport, except for those who enjoy hiking. The devil is in the details—enough to prevent me from giving a top rating. First, the breakfast falls well below expectations, not even reaching a three-star standard, and is wholly inadequate for a five-star hotel. Guests are presented with a preprinted sheet featuring a few idiosyncratic options to select from, and interaction with the waitstaff is limited to handing over the sheet. There is virtually no fresh fruit available (aside from a token bowl of apples), and the "fruit juices" are low-quality concentrates. An omelette with mushrooms arrived unexpectedly with cheese and was overall disappointing in quality. The following day, when I ordered something as simple as bread with marmalade and honey—the last three items on the sheet—the honey was omitted. Overall, the breakfast experience was poor. Second, in the room, there were several impractical design choices. After stepping out of the shower, there was no towel within reach; I had to walk, dripping wet, 16 steps to retrieve one placed near the front door—oddly, in a bookshelf. One of the cupboards had interior lights that remained permanently on, clearly visible at night. Power outlets were scarce and impractically placed; for instance, the outlet on the right side of the bed was incompatible with a standard Apple adapter. There are additional issues—some might seem minor—but collectively, they reflect a lack of thoughtful attention to guest comfort. The core issue is that more care and consideration from management is needed to make the experience as seamless and practical as it should be at this level.

FANTASTIC breakfast Location is very good Design is extremely strange but!! Room are perfect, fashioned, modern and comfortable The restaurant on the second floor is amazing! Meat ? is so delicious! Will always stay in The Veil…nothing more I need Aircon is working very strange without any change to change cycle Water regulation can be better because it was a little bit hot and also no way to make it cooler
-
Nice concept - several great restaurants are in the same building! For an unknown reason the sink is in the room while there is plenty of space in the shower room and in the toilet room.

The architecture is really cool. I had a great room with a huge view and ceiling. It was stylish and comfortable. Wifi was good. I wish the Sauna area, which was great, had better hours. It should be open much earlier in the morning and later at night - which are the main times I want to use it!
