Not much The bed was very uncomfortable, the room smelled bad and was dirty. There were stains on the walls/doors/mirrors. There were pieces of plastic on the carpet. There were hairs in the shower.

The balcony offers a great view of the sea and coastline of Atami. It's not a new hotel.

The location was great, but the front desk staff was amazing. Everyone was really polite and extremely patient with some rude guests. The man who was doing the night shift at the front desk was exceptionally kind and polite. Me and my partner liked him a lot.

Beautiful classic Japanese resort hotel with excellent facilities. Nothing

Its near at the beach so its very convenient. The air condition was not working properly the water is leaking and goes to the floor. Also the exhaust fan doesn’t work in the bath room and toilet. Its kinda old building. I hope they check the rooms before someone let them use.

Even though the facilities seems dated, the place was kept very clean. Hot spring faucet (80 degree celcius) in the bathtub was a plus. I loved the tatami portion of the room and the balcony with an ocean view. The receptionists were all very nice and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage there for a few hours after checking out. Probably for security purpose but a bit inconvenient: you need to give your room key to the front desk when going out and get them back when you return to the hotel. The walk uphill from the hotel to Atami station might be challenging for people with luggage.
