Quaint and friendly place. Traditional ryokan experience. A bit out of the way from main tourist area. On the other hand, it is in a quiet area which was nice.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to my friend who messed up booking his room. They had english speakers which is always appreciated and the food was excellent, service was great, the room was magical and romantic.

The food was fantastic, the bath was extremely relaxing and the futons were very soft and comfortable. The staff were all very polite and helpful. This is the best place i have ever stayed in my travels.

In room onsen and dining. Room smelled like a smoking room which is not what I reserved. It did not smell like this the last time I was there in the same room. Food was better last time.

Our rooms were very well maintained. All amenities were provided and the staff was very attentive to our needs. They made sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay. My group left feeling very happy with our stay. The views surrounding the area were phenomenal. The common areas (like the hallways) could use a bit more attention to in terms of cleanliness. But otherwise, everything else was great!

The open-air onsen was excellent. I guess the Japanese style room/futon’s not really for me, so I’d try and book a room with a bed next time.

Very friendly staff. Food was excellent, views were amazing. The bedding was a bit too thin, I wish the bed mattress was just a bit thicker.

Server lady, was not good, she didn't sit nicely, like half standing served for preparation for the table even she wears Kimono! not nicely though ...my husband said, normally nicely sit and prepare for the dishes or setting up ..was littel rough to put dishes...loudly.on the tabe, but owner or mangers others, are very nice people. My husband needs chairs, two schairs in the room but very very low and hard to sit down even I had a bit difficulty. Otherwise very nice rooms and nice view room.

The atmosphere and helpful staff. We had a great time with all and couldn't have been happier. Good was amazing as well as the baths. Loved sleeping on futons and having yukatas! Everything was great. Though maybe add some really basic things written in English, just in case?

Nothing really, but the elevator door was a bit scary. It closes on you rather quickly and with full force, so I recommend being extra careful.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very kind and accommodating. The room we had was large and comfortable with a private onsen, two twin beds and a dining room. The meal service was lovely with a large variety of dishes. The private onsen was so nice, but the public onsen is also fantastic and very chill. The food was inconsistent - some dishes were bland, others were quite delicious. We couldn't get a taxi to the property because the property said on Fridays the drivers take the day off! Wish we had known that. A staff member ended up driving us to the station which was so nice of him but it took about 40 min bc of traffic!

This hotel is amazing! Traditional Japanese atmosphere treating the guests like Royalty! The ocean views are spectacular and the onsen are amazing. The chef is great! I liked everything!

This is a traditional Japanese hotel that is very service oriented. You sleep on tatami floors with futons that are made up for you each night. The views are amazing as you are perched above the city and ocean! There is a spectacular view from the open air rooftop onsen! There is also a huge indoor public bath onsen on first floor! The food is delicious! I liked everything!
