The staff were really helpful and friendly, helping us get our luggage to our room, when we arrived. The ladies' onsen bath is lovely and a wonderful way to relax at the end of a busy and tiring day. There are lots of toiletries to choose from also. The hotel shuttle bus, which had to be pre-booked, was really helpful, too. Finally, the views from the hotel are stunning. Just to be aware, the hotel has no elevators and a lot of stairs, which are tricky with heavy luggage or if you struggle walking.. The hotel is relatively expensive, very remote, up a steep and windy road with no convenience stores nearby. Also be careful as there are a number of TKP Lectore hotels in Atami! However, overall, we still really enjoyed our stay in Atami and used taxis to return to the hotel later at night.

Quiet, free transfers, kind staff, onsen included, gave us free upgrade, left my watch and they sent it to my home. If you’re up for walking or have a car, it’s a good “base” to go to nearby attractions in Atami On top of the hill, quite bit of a walk to go to restaurants as it was too late to book for dinners (day before) no western breakfast. My British boyfriend couldn’t eat the Japanese breakfast. But for me it was good.
