Modern look of the room. Nicely decorated. Extra couch. Excellent location. Tasty breakfast. Great coffee accessible all the time. Unfortunately there wasn’t any sign that there is an elevator in the building, so we ended up carrying our heavy luggage upstairs. The next day we discovered there is which is great :-) Breakfast was tasty. I only disliked that I couldn’t get more fried eggs than just one per person.

Ideally located, literally 10-15 mins walk to different spots of interest. Nice breakfast on terrace, the ladies tending to breakfast were lovely, great way to start the morning. We found our rooms clean and comfortable.

Great room in a great location! Close to the center but still quiet and private. We stayed one night before our flight and the staff were very nice and let us get ready for our flight after we already checked out from the room

The location was a pleasant surprise as shopping, restaurants and historical venues are all within a short walking distance. Add a coffee maker to the room.

There was sewage smell coming from the bathtub. The whole room smelled when we entered. We covered the drain with wet wipes.

Location was perfect for exploring Athens for a couple of days before our cruise. The room was spacious and comfortable. Check in and staff are actually located across the street and another hotel which was confusing when we first arrived, but once we understood that it was not an issue

Breakfast was mediocre. Check-in is across the street and up a flight of stairs as there is no elevator. Then once you have your room key you must walk back down the stairs with your luggage, and walk across the street. The bathroom has bold mustardy yellow tiles and walls, while the bedroom area is off white with a classic decor. The combination is odd.

Location is perfect if you prefer center energy. Prepare for late night sounds though. Breakfast was too light, we skipped. Good coffee though. The reception is at the hotel across the street , not a big deal.

Locations was fantastic. Breakfast and breakfast staff were wonderful. Very attentive and a charming space to enjoy. Beds were firm and comfortable. Rain shower was hot and great pressure. Know that you are in the heart of the city… we always travel with ear plugs and this is a must if your room is street side.

Astikon House was the perfect spot for our stay in Athens. Super convenient to all the sites and charming Plaka area & very clean, stylish accommodation. The free breakfast was great (especially the woman running the breakfast who was delightful), and when our bags were delayed, the staff brought them right up to our room when they were delivered. Overall a great experience here! The hotel itself is small & doesn’t have a lot of facilities aside from the nice breakfast area, but that was totally fine for what we were looking for.

Perfect location, clean room, breakfast from menu (main course) street noise till midnight, but earplugs help :)

A really nice, compact yet stylish hotel stay in central Athens next to the main shopping street yet still restful and quiet. Astikon offers a nice breakfast with additional menu options and all necessary services through the sister hotel across the street. Great location, good staff and reliable quality throughout. We had the same room one month later and the small issues with the room we had mentioned to the staff earlier such as a continuously running toilet, erratic blinking LED lights and a toilet paper holder perilously close to falling off the wall had still not been addressed.
