Athens Quinta - Hostel

Location was great and not too far from the metro staff were super friendly and helpful. I was also able to keep my motorcycle in the alley right outside the room with no issues The second floor creaks pretty loud when you walk around the room but that’s an older building for you

The location is a bit far from the centre. It takes around 15-20 minutes to walk.

Very clean space located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Exarcheia. Felt safe and staff were friendly and gave recommendations for the area upon request. Very nice to have complimentary breakfast with multiple food options. The back door and windows are always open to regulate the temperature inside and there were a lot of mosquitoes when I went in May. Would recommend either providing communal bug spray or a small AC unit for the rooms.

The shared spaces were inviting and staff were friendly. I wish I would’ve read the reviews about bed bug issues from last month and earlier this month. I left the hotel and that evening I was covered in bed bug bites. My face, arms, legs… I’ve never experienced it before so I didn’t know what to look for but now I do. CHECK THE SHEETS! I noticed black specs that I now know is bed bug fecal matter. I am completely overwhelmed upon returning home and need to get an exterminator to ensure I didn’t bring anything back with me.

Very welcoming staff, cozy main building, good location in trendy neighborhood. The room was actually a small shed in the hostel garden, quite humid and cold. Bed was not made, and only bed linens (with small holes and one faded blood mark) were furnished, no real bed covers, that led to an unpleasant and sleepless night. The proximity of the garden where other guests stayed to watch videos until midnight did not help.

If you value your sleep and comfort, I do not recommend staying here. My experience was terrible. I saw bed bugs, was bitten several times, and ended up leaving at 3 AM to find another hotel because it was unbearable. The private double room I booked had an old mattress and overall felt unhygienic. Moreover none of the staff responded to my complaint. Think twice before booking this place. I’ve stayed in many hostels, but never faced this before..

I like the location, a bit away from the touristy centre so a little quieter and surrounded by a great range of restaurants and bars. These aren’t your usual hostel beds. It’s comfortable and homey. There are healthy breakfast options and hang out spaces, including a common use kitchen All is good for my needs

I really liked the late check-in. The staff left clear instructions and even sticky notes to guide me, I really appreciated that.

It was nice, clean, economical, close to the activities in Athens. Sites museums, and restaurants were awesome. Nothing!

My sister and me, we booked for 2 nights on June 2025, In general we felt save, comfortable, clean place, friendly staff. We were surprised because the picture show kind of “dangerous location “ because of the graffiti’s everywhere, but was a nice surprise, all Athena has this beautiful style! We loved the hostel and the city! The internet is included however it’s not the best, better to have yours.

The building and its location are excellent. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with many plugs. Not about the property but I didn’t like that I had to stay only one night! I hung out with my roommates for a couple hours and I had a wonderful time, I left heartbroken that I couldn’t stay longer.

There was no information around about the hostels services, the WiFi was very but VERY bad, we didnt have any signal in our room, we couldn’t have breakfast because te fridge wasn’t organized there was no information about the food inside ( the food had names of other guest on it)

Not crowded. Enough bathrooms. Old style house.

The beds are very old and uncomfortable, there is a ventilation problem, the bathrooms are not suitable for taking a shower, the floors make a lot of noise, there is an iron but no table. In general, there are many deficiencies and it is not suitable for accommodation.
