The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, with plenty of cafés, shops, and several pharmacies nearby. The staff is very polite and friendly. The room was clean, and all the facilities worked well. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money! The only downside is the Omonia neighborhood itself, which is unfortunately quite run-down and not particularly clean. Before our trip, we had read many worrying reviews, but in the end we always felt safe during our stay. That said, I can understand why solo female travelers might feel uncomfortable in the area. If you're traveling as a couple or in a group, however, Mansion Hotel is an excellent choice.

The area or people that you see around it doesn't feel very safe, but people were minding their own business, I never felt threatened or anything like that.

Helpful staff. They made check in easy and also set up a taxi for next day.

The location was not far from sites I was interested in for my 1 night stay. The room was very tiny, some parts of the room definitely needed some extra care in terms of cleaning, I found and killed one very small cockroach. It wasn’t the end of the world thought, just hope it is addressed, where there’s one there are more.

Nice clean room, convenient, easy access to local food, shopping, transportation services! Staff were Excellent! They received and held a package for me! Overall the BEST BUDGET OPTION in Athens!!! (Better by far than any “Hostel”!) The location has a bad reputation and a sleazy vibe… but I don’t go out at night… so I felt very safe in the day time! Best place to stay for the money!

The best thing was the staff very friendly and supportive. Too small rooms and the location: the street was full of people with prostitutes and drug addicted.

Bed was somewhat uncomfortable, with only one pillow each, and the bathroom was a tad small, with frosted glass walls. Only a bin for toilet paper, and not for other rubbish

Room was exactly as described, very clean, staff was friendly, it’s centrally located. with great local (non-tourist) food options within a couple blocks. There’s a laundromat on the block as well if you’re planning a longer stay. It is in a gritty neighborhood but as a 61 year old solo female traveler I felt safe. Everything I wanted to see was at most a 30/35 min walk so I never even used public transportation.
