great place, the staff was very nice, the room clean and the location is in the center of the city. in the lobby there is coffee, fruits juices and some vegteables... all fresh the streets around during the night felt a little unsafe.

The staff scheduled our transfer to the airport but it was quite expensive. This property was in an extremely run down part of town. When we arrived the furniture from the balcony of the room was in the hallway which made it hard to navigate to our door. A chair on the balcony broke immediately when we sat in it and the umbrella and holder were tipped over. The room itself was fine but not for the price we paid. The hotel staff scheduled our transfer but did not tell them we needed a baby seat. The driver was kind and fixed it but was not told to begin with. This was not a good accommodation and we are glad we only stayed for 1 night.

That was an excellent room. The Staff was very polite and helpful. A place I would want to stay whenever I come to Athens.

The team were nice and tried to help No counter space next to the sink and Not enough shelves or hooks to hang in the bathrooms. The bathroom was small and so was the room

The room itself was wonderful! The 2 bedrooms were both very spacious, as was the main room and kitchenette. The beds were very comfortable, the balconies were both a good size, well furnished and had a spectacular view of the Acropolis. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and easy to contact via WhatsApp. The air conditioner was definitely a plus as it was quite hot outside while we were there. The neighborhood was lively and felt safe. While we enjoyed the lively neighborhood, if you had small children or required silence at night, this might not be the hotel for you as it was quite loud in the evenings and nighttime. To note though, the noise didn't bother us or our or children ages 9, 13, & 14. We also had a small problem with ants in the kitchenette, it wasn't enough for us to not use the space, but enough that we noticed them.

Staff, accommodations and location.

Staff. Facilities.

Spacious and comfortable bed. Included a safe in the room. The rooftop provided great views of the city. All those who work there were friendly and helpful. We felt safe here.

Location was okay, hard to find at first, but close to major streets and public transport. Nice big bathroom and shower, a shelf or rail inside shower cubicle would be good. Didn’t use breakfast option which was cafe next door, so don’t know. Elevator and direct entry worked well. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. Dark in room, needed lights on all the time, had to keep some curtains closed due to balcony not really usable as overlooked and adjacent to general guest balcony for used for smoking, late-night drinking etc. Description as “city view” stretches it a bit, it was a derelict area behind apartment blocks, so not good to look at. Tiny cups, okay for coffee I guess, but useless for a decent cup of tea!

The gym went out of the order the first day. Windows in the room were not cleaned. Also there was not a lot of natural light.

The ground floor entrance can use a little beautification or upgrade

The room was clean in central location The location was convenient and close to the city center, but the street and surroundings of the hotel were not well maintained or attractive. I didn’t like the hotel’s design, and the rooms were not comfortable. There was no hanger for a coat near the entrance, the toilet area was too narrow, and the heating didn’t work properly. Even after setting it to 30°C and asking the receptionist to fix it, the room never became warm enough.

Amazing rooms and service Nothing

The entrance to the hotel is literally on the terrace of a busy restaurant. Could be a bit annoying to make your way to the entrance to the hotel. Entry code is also required to enter the building. Not a deal breaker in any way, just a bit annoying. There were a bit of mosquitoes. It takes just one to get your body itchy. Would be helpful if they installed nets in the windows.

We were a short walk from the Markets and Restaurant areas. There is a wonderful view from the 9th Floor Bar of all of Athens. All up it was a great stay. The Hotel provided a voucher for Breakfast at a local Restaurant. This was fine but I am still not convinced that this is better than a good Buffet. The voucher entitled you to a restricted "Voucher Menu" at the Restaurant with one selection and either Coffee Tea or Orange Juice. The Restaurant obviously had a more comprehensive Breakfast Menu available to non voucher guests. We stayed at the Play Hotel for three mornings and I just found the Voucher Menu restricting. One probable option would be for the Voucher to give the guest a monetary allowance off purchases on the full Restaurant Menu? The food on the restricted Voucher Menu was all good and the Orange Juice was fresh so this is a minor suggestion.

The staff were very nice. Everyone had a positive attitude. Very refreshing!

The staff were superb and super friendly and made the check in process great. No keys needed. All codes for main door and room doors. We received an upgrade for all three rooms we rented. The hotel reception and rooms were welcoming, clean and well appointed and designed in a contemporary cool style. Comfortable bed and great shower too. Free Nespresso was great too The neighborhood is in gentrification stage and appears gritty with lots of graffiti but it was still vibrant and young and just a block or two away from the Plaka center.

Very clean and secure accommodations! Staff were helpful and gave us suggestions! They allowed us to leave our luggage while we were exploring without an additional charge!!! Some of the streets close by had tagging so we were a little uneasy when we arrived late at night. However, when we left in the morning there were plenty of shops and restaurants on the same street.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and let us store our bags at the hotel before and long after checkin making it an extremely convenient place to stay for our 2 nights in Athens.

I had a great 5 night stay in room 303. The staff gave me a free upgrade to stay next to my colleague. The room was spacious, the cleaning was done every day. Even too much of it: they changed the towels daily! I would definitely recommend to hit the rooftop bar! Nothing, really.
