The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel was spotless, and the level of cleanliness exceeded our expectations. The facilities were well maintained and very comfortable. The location was excellent, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area. An additional advantage was the free private parking, which made our stay even more convenient. The breakfast was outstanding, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return in the future. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious, the breakfast buffet was great, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. On-site parking was available, and the location was very central, about a 10-minute walk to the Plaka. Everything was fine, except the two elevators were very cramped. Only one person with luggage or two people could use each elevator at a time.

The hotel was easy to access by Metro and I took two guided tours out of the city that both had bus stops on the square where this hotel is, so from that perspective, it was very convenient. The breakfast was very nice and you can tell the women took pride in putting it out. The location is convenient to transportation, but not much else. One morning, I walked to the Acropolis from the hotel, which is about a 40-minute walk and discovered that the neighborhood the hotel is in is actually quite dodgy. At 7am on a Sunday morning, the streets and sidewalks were full of trash and there were many homeless people and drug addicts living in the alleyways and sidewalks within 1-2 blocks of the hotel. (For the record, they did not disturb me, but it does suggest that this isn't the nicest area of town--less seasoned travelers may have been quite anxious) I booked last minute and was looking for something affordable, so from that regard, it suited me fine, but if you're coming on your once-in-a-lifetime dream trip to Athens, you might want to splurge on something a little closer to the pedestrian areas.

No double doors between the hallway and the sleeping room. Inconsiderate guests would make too much noise at night.
-
The bed and couch are very old, broken down and very uncomfortable! The food was not the quality I would expect.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to where the main tourist sites are in Athens. The rooms need to be updated.

First off, anyone who comes here should know that the rooms are small. The lift is small and with any reasonably sized luggage, you can feel very cramped in it. Coming to the room, for us the AC didn't work. Then we were informed that the outside temperature needs to be above a certain point for the AC to work. Problem is that the rooms are small and heat up but the AC is linked to outside temperature. The beds are saggy even when you barely get on it. The breakfast is ordinary. Dont hope for much if you are a vegetarian. The location is close to points of interest, but is close to some really shady areas. Definitely got some drug addiction and homelessness vibes walking in from roads connecting to the hotel location. Choose this hotel if you are a couple and dont plan to spend any time in your rooms other than to sleep. Would not recommend to families - especially with children.

The staff was very nice, good breakfast, clean rooms A bit noisy from the traffic, small elevator

Wonderful breakfast and helpful service. Bathtub was difficult for me and elevators were rather tiny.

Breakfast was not included in the rate and pricey by our standards.

I am so happy we stayed at Hotel Katerina! The location was perfect and the people that work there are very kind. This hotel is very unique. Love the single person elevators and the vintage decor. The balcony in our room over looked hotel circle which was always busy and fun to watch all the driver’s working together. I would definitely recommend this hotel. ❤️
