Areos Hotel

Amazing hotel, amazing room, amazing staff.

The room was fantastic, particularly the very comfortable bed. It was spotlessly clean and a fairly large room. The neighborhood was lovely. I felt very safe there. The nice young man at the front desk even escorted me to my room because he could tell I was exhausted and frazzled. I loved this place. I want to live there forever!

The room was very spacious and extremely clean. The reception staff was professional, very welcoming, nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us, not in the very touristic part of Athens but still tons of coffee shops and restaurants with a great atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return to this hotel in our next visit to Athens.

For its price the hotel is realy good. The manager did everything to make us feel home and help with any question. It is located out of the center in. Relatively quiet location but close to the main street which leads to everythin within a walking distance. Rooms are big and we had a big terrace. Room had everthing. There is nofree parking unlike what we were led to believe from thier booking page You can park in the near hotel but will cost you 15 eu day There is no breakfast It is a bit away from the action which can be good or bad Reception work limited hours

Comfy, big rooms and bathrooms. Nice place, comfy bed. Mostly a great experience. The guy at the lobby also helped us during check out and let us know that the taxis were on strike and helped us figure out where to go. The late night check-in experience was a bit odd, no one was at the lobby and we were let in remotely, but the woman’s voice on the dial was not easy to understand and communicate with. I think an overnight receptionist is needed for a hotel with this many stars. The room had some traffic noise. Otherwise it was a great experience for a quick one night stay.

Very friendly staff and even after reception times check-in their support was excellent, flexible and very helpful. As always rooms were very clean. Loction (as it never changes) is still very convenient near metro station Victoria. Although the KTEL busses to Rafina don't stop anymore across the street or around the corner. Not within the influence of the hotel. Hardly anything, besides that some mattresses were a bit softer, as I personally prefer a harder mattress and firmer pillow. Of course firmer pillows were provided on request. As said helpful friendly staff makes all the difference.

The young guy in the reception is very polite and helpful he let me in 3 hours earlier and for the check out he did the same very helpful and respectful person

Great service, the receptionist helped us a lot. You need to know there is a noice of the church bells few times a day

I stayed for several days. The bed was very comfortable, was able to sleep well and detected no noises from street or hallway. The WC was clean and had good fixtures. My room was particularly small, however, I had a huge balcony which was ideal for enjoying the spring weather. Mount Lycabettus was within view. Days later I was on Crete and I realized I had accidentally left behind clothing and a tripod. I called Areos from Crete asking if they had the items. Sure enough, they did and they kept them safe for me until I picked them up over a week later. That was wonderful and much appreciated. This location was very convenient for attending the School of Greek Language and Culture-- just a 5 min walk. I do wish Areos would open up their bar. I did miss the opportunities to connect with other travelers.

A very comfortable boutique hotel. Good value and location. The Espresso bar was closed. Only vending machines. Having said that, there are plenty of coffee bars close by.

This hotel is a great option if you are looking for a place to stay in a less busy part of Athens. The rooms are nicely arranged and furnished. The hotel is easily reachable from the metro station of Victoria and is in close proximity to the bohemian neighborhood of Exarcheia.
