Nothing good matters if you have to deal with bed bugs. Do not book here. To start, don't fall for their "Acropolis view" rooms. Our first room was on the 3rd floor and looked directly at a giant building covered in pipes; you could only actually see the Acropolis if you stood up high enough to peek over it. On top of that, the AC had issues and made the wall vibrate. After spending the first night like this, we got moved to a room on the 5th floor. You could actually see the Acropolis from this one, but that is where we found an active bed bug infestation. When we showed management the photos (we even brought one live bug in a napkin), they completely brushed it off, actually telling us that "every hotel has this problem." Even worse, they mentioned that the room is treated weekly and had been treated by pest control before we checked in. That means the room has a chronic, unresolved history of bed bugs, and they rented it to us anyway without making sure it was actually clean. They offered to move us yet again, but at that point, we weren't going to risk it. We decided to pack all our stuff and move to a completely different hotel. The management refused to honor our decision to leave and wouldn't even refund us for the final night we didn't stay there. They care more about keeping your money than guest safety. Stay somewhere else unless you want to spend your vacation dealing with endless room shuffling and a bug infestation.

    - This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We stayed at Athens Tower Hotel for six nights, and for four full days there was no electricity in our room. This meant no proper air conditioning, no lighting, no ability to charge phones, no use of electrical appliances, no TV and no basic comfort in the room. After full days of walking, sightseeing and spending time around Athens, we could not even shower properly because the bathroom was completely dark due to the lack of electricity. This was especially unacceptable given the hot weather in Athens, with temperatures around 30°C and above. The hotel did not provide a proper solution. The electricity would return briefly and then fail again. Only on the final night, around midnight, after repeated complaints, we were moved to another room mainly so we could pack and leave the next day. In addition, the elevators were not functioning for almost the entire stay. We were not informed about this before arrival or during check-in. We arrived with three large suitcases and had to carry them ourselves up the stairs, without proper help from the hotel. The staircase was narrow, winding and poorly lit, which made the situation even more difficult and unsafe. The breakfast area was located on the sixth floor. Because the elevators were not working and we would have had to climb up to the sixth floor by a narrow, winding staircase, we gave up on breakfast altogether. A basic hotel service became practically inaccessible. The most frustrating part was the complete lack of initiative and responsibility from the hotel staff. They did not make any real effort to help, reduce the inconvenience, or offer practical solutions. We had to think of everything ourselves, suggest solutions, and essentially manage the situation for them. Even after all of this, the hotel showed no meaningful consideration regarding compensation or a refund for the stay.

Excellent location, walking distance to the main attractions

Good location for visiting historic sites. The windows in the room don't keep out the street noise/ loud music which goes on to the early hours. No free tv available so you have to use your own apps and subscription services. Breakfast is typical buffet but a working toaster or better quality fresh bread and pastries would improve it

Very central As usual small elevator

The property is in an excellent location. You are literally just steps away from the main square. It is an established building that’s been re-structured for modern amenities. My room had a street view. Every night was fine except Friday night where I had to go to bed early to get up early the next day for my flight. There was a lot of road noise that was radiating through the windows. If they could be more soundproof, it’ll be excellent.

Great location near Monastiraki Place. Direct view over Acropole. Nice furniture, good interior design. Good breakfast in an upper floor cantina with great view. Good personel. Kind of noisy, not from outside -as one can expect - but from inner pipes, instalations, neighbours through thin walls etc. Very busy elevators, due to the presence of a roof restaurant.

The location is great, right on the main square and close to all the major attractions. The metro station is right below the hotel. The service was excellent, as was the quality of the room and the level of cleanliness. We left very satisfied. Excellent value for money

It was in a great location, within walking distance of the Acropolis and surrounded by excellent restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the Acropolis, which made the stay even more special. The reception staff were very helpful. They assisted me in arranging laundry service, booking a Valentine’s Eve dinner, and organizing a taxi to the airport.
