The main benefit of Electra is its central location, walking distance from most of Athens main attractions, including the Ancient Agora and the Acropolis. Moreover, the breakfast is simply phenomenal. Nothing in particular, but it can get a bit noisy at night as the region is very popular and fulfilled with bars and restaurants.

My favorite part of the hotel was the spectacular rooftop view of the Acropolis. It was absolutely beautiful, especially at breakfast. The breakfast itself was excellent, with a great selection and quality. Housekeeping did a wonderful job throughout my stay, and the lobby staff were friendly and helpful. There were, however, a few areas where the experience fell short of what I expect from a five-star hotel. Before my arrival, I had requested a foam pillow. Unfortunately, this request wasn't acknowledged at check-in, and I spent my first night without one. I eventually had to ask housekeeping the following day. My recommendation would be for the front desk to review guest requests before arrival and confirm them during check-in so guests know their requests have been taken care of. My biggest disappointment was the transportation arranged by the hotel. I had notified the hotel well in advance of my dinner reservation and requested a taxi, yet I was left waiting approximately 20 minutes for the car to arrive. The taxi service itself was unreliable, and the driver was extremely rude. I believe the hotel should carefully evaluate the transportation providers they recommend, as they become an extension of the guest experience. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel for its rooftop views, breakfast, and convenient location. However, based on my experience, I would not classify it as a true five-star luxury property, as the level of attention to detail and service did not consistently meet that standard.

I really liked the room. It was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location was excellent, close to all the major attractions and easy to get around on foot. We also felt safe walking in the area, and taxis and Uber were convenient and readily available. There is not much to dislike about the property. The only things worth noting for future visitors are more general tips. Check-out is at 11 am and late check-out is usually not available depending on the season. I would also highly recommend tipping the cleaning and wait staff as they are very attentive and helpful. If you check out by 11 am but have a later flight, you can leave your luggage for a few hours and still continue to use the hotel amenities, which is very convenient.

We like the property very much. It is right in the middle of everything, walking distance to major sites. The environment is very vibrant. Hotel management and staff are very friendly. The top floor restaurant is amazing. Inside of the rooms, it is very quiet and I was very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely stay there again. Everything is great

Excellent location, access to a beautiful pool and restaurant and the staff was very accommodating. Only recommendation would be cleanliness of the gym, changing room area and the flies.
