The location is super close to every thing you want . Clean The beds were very hard and uncomfortable , the view in our window was awful.

The hotel is located in a good location however the hotel itself has not been up kept nor renovated for many, many years. Breakfast was fresh with large selection of smoked fish, deli meats, fresh salads/fruits, pastries and custom eggs ( poached, egg white, etc) made to order. When we arrived at the hotel Dimitrious at the reception told us that my 3 booked rooms were clean and ready for us and that they would all be next to each other as I have previously requested. We were given 3 rooms(1 Superior and 2 Executive rooms on the 3rd floor).Upon arriving on the 3rd floor, we right away smelled foul odor (mold) from the hallway carpets and noticed black scuff marks on the walls ( no one has re-painted or even up kept those walls in many years).The walls in the hallways/rooms have black skuff marks, furniture in the rooms is ancient looking, chipped throughout and stained. In one of the Executive rooms, the white bedding which seemed to be freshly made had multiple black stains and the old gray velvet headboard had unknown brown stains on it which was absolutely disgusting! Very old floor carpets throughout which smell like mold/sewer ( the smell in the rooms was pungent the moment you open the door and unbearable). The mattresses are old, sunken and not suitable for a good night sleep. Grout is chipped/missing in the room bathrooms ( some grout has visible black mold), old marble tiles on bathroom floor have visible large cracks, no body wash provided ( just tiny/sample sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner), black hairs inside the bathtub and water stays barely luke warm.When I booked the rooms, the pictures and the descriptions on the site were not what the rooms look like in real life! Bell boy was very helpful, tried calling the reception to see if we can have different rooms but Dimitrious from the reception told him that "they were all booked". I tried to reason with him explaining that the rooms that were given to us are below Motel grade level and that my children will not sleep in a room which smells like mold. I had to get a manager involved who came, looked at each room, smelled them and said "You are right, I'm so sorry!".

The showerhead was not working properly dripping all over and the air conditioner did not drop below 20 C and a view of the Parthenon was partial for the price we paid

The location is excellent. Mattress was work out; bed not comfortable. Facility is very old, there is a smell of old wood, some rooms are renovated or partially renovated. The room I was offers was a non-renovated room with prominent old wood smell, I The front desk upgraded me to a renovated room, and made sure I knew that the room they gave me was more expensive but they won’t charge me extra

Location, location, location. The staff were very helpful with giving us tips about navigating the city and check out. Because it’s at the city center, it can be loud with all cars, honks, and people shouting even after mid night. But that’s what you should expect staying in a very good hotel at the city center

I liked the hotel a lot, the location is very conviniaent. Breakfast is nice however i find it a bit limited compare to other 5 stars hotel. The rooms are big but a bit old , the only thing i didnk like is the bed. the big bad was verry inconivinient.

The National Parliament is just steps away, and the hotel provides easy access to all the major attractions, including the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, National Gardens, Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Benaki Museum, Ermou Street, Monastiraki, the Ancient and Roman Agoras, as well as Plaka and Anafiotika, and many others. Service was impeccable throughout. Shortly after confirming my booking, the Front Office Team reached out to me to assist with pre-arrival arrangements, including airport transfers. (The hotel also offers convenient online pre-arrival check-in and pre-departure check-out.) The Team were consistently warm, professional, and attentive—whether assisting with directions, facilities, or restaurant reservations. Special thanks to Maria, Nikos, and Naxos for their outstanding service. For my first stay, I had booked a room with an Acropolis view and was pleasantly surprised by a thoughtful upgrade on arrival, which I greatly appreciated. For my second stay, I had booked a suite. Both were spacious, clean, very comfortable, and offered excellent views. The breakfast spread was equally impressive, with a wide and generous selection. This will certainly be my hotel of choice whenever I return to Athens. Show less

Location is fine. Close to shopping. And right across from the changing of the guard at the Parliament building. WE went to Catholic church, which was within walking distance. Hotel rooms are very spacious and clean.

The street noise is too loud and can here all the noise inside the room.
