I had to step through a group of homeless people standing directly in the doorway, but thought "Wow I guess thats Atlanta. Them when I came back with my bags. One of them followed me all the way to the elevator in the center of the hotel. Instead of walking to my room, I decided to go to the tables, then another area, and all along the way, he followed me like a shadow. Finally I had to confront him myself to say "Hey, stop following me." Still the hotel staff (about 5 present) did and said nothing. I then told the homeless man to follow me outside, which he did, at which point I said to the staff "Hey can somebody do something about this?" Then a worker responded "Ya I was telling her 'look that guy is following him!' that was crazy!" To which I said, so y'all just let people in like that for the guests to fend for themselves, huh?" Then today (2 days after checkout) I see there are all kinds of erroneous charges from the hotel. I called to find out what they were and was told that it was items charged at the front desk to my room, including $11 for a water and a soft drink, and an $85 charge for something they don't even know! I asked to speak with a manager and was put on hold for 30 minutes. Noe when I call, I am Immediately hung up on. Called the IHG corporate number and they said they will call in 2 to 3 business days! Worst experience ever! Nothing is safe here, not your physical safety, your money, etc. NEVER booking again.

Lobby was very run down , homeless outside hotel right in front of the hotel making it feel not very safe. Rooms were clean and staff was good.

It was okay. Went in the room and smelled like wet dog. We didn’t really have any natural lighting and on top of that they woke us up from our sleep at 1am to call about some mix up they made with someone else’s transactions. The bathroom was clogged and there was some weird green stuff on the bathroom tile. I honestly didn’t have a good experience if you have to pay an extra $30 or $20 to stay somewhere else I would recommend….

We had a great stay! I would highly recommend the suites because of the space - two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living area. Worked out perfectly for three! The location was excellent with great restaurants and the aquarium within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage and valet park before our check-in time. Breakfast was also wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms very small and in need of replar. Ie… shower head loose. Didn’t work well.
-
Excellent attention, the employees were very friendly, from the time we arrived until we left the overall attention was of excellent quality. The room is very clean and comfortable. Just what I was looking for

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions, including the aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, and several parks. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was a great way to start each day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! IF YOU SMOKE AND DON’T AIR OUT OR SPRAY PERFUME ON YOUR CLOTHES. THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD! SAYING YOU SMOKED IN THE ROOM! I WOULD NEVER SMOKE IN A ROOM! I WORKED FOR MARRIOTT over 6 years. THIS IS FRAUD!!! HOW MANY OTHERS have they stole from. NEVER AGAIN!!

This hotel was in the perfect location! My friend and I went to see the WNBA game and we walked to it. Didn’t have to deal with all that traffic. We did the valet parking and didn’t drive anywhere for two days! Everything is within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

My daughter and I stayed here after a Braves game and for an Atlanta Dream game at State Farm. It was about a 20 minute drive from Truist Park, and we self parked in a parking lot just around the corner. Check in was easy, room was very nice with look over the street. I was worried it may be loud the next morning, but it was not. We walked to Hard Rock and the Aquarium from here in about 10 minutes. Great location and would highly recommend this Holiday Inn! Lots of parking lots nearby. Breakfast was also very good! Lots of choices.

The staff were welcoming and attended to all our needs. The room was clean but smelt a little like dogs had stayed in there/ a little stale and breakfast was ample - location was good for our needs and the valet service worked well for us too. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Overall, the Hotel is very nice & clean. Also, well kept. I loved My room! Only thing is that, if there is something going on at one of the local event centers, you should expect to be constantly re-routed & delayed getting back to the hotel IF you're driving. This was a very unpleasant experience, not being from the area & relying on GPS instructions.

Comfortable bed. Room was very large. Breakfast was the highlight of the hotel. Asked for late checkout and was told the best they could do was 11:30 am. When another customer checking in same time as I was, was told 2:00pm was the latest they could do. Thought this was unfair.
