This was such a great hotel. I’ll definitely be staying there again when I return to Atlanta.

The few issues improvements the hotel should look at are: improving the in-hotel restaurants/bars. Food good but service is slow and leaves much to be desired. However, room service was easy to call in and the food was delicious. The two noted in room issues were that we were in a premium room with electric curtains. Those were someone confusing to operate, as none of the buttons for them have their function labeled, and the one inside the bedroom appeared to not fully work/close the curtain. Also, the door to the balcony, while it closes and locks securely, it should have more weatherstripping and close tighter. It does not currently close as tight as it should, which allows a lot more outdoor sound to come in vs. if it tightly closed. Will definitely be back for another Atlanta staycation in The Gulch!

Great place to stay when going to a concert at Mercedes-Benz stadium.

I can’t wait to revisit this hotel! My, husband and I both agreed that we would stay here again. We didn’t get to check out the eating inside the hotel, but we will next time.

All the staff was amazing but the bartenders were overwhelmed with all the concert goers. The only thing I could complain about was that the bars were under staffed and they tried their best to serve everyone

A Fabulous Property! Staff Was Excellent!!!

Unfortunately, the bar/pool service and overall planning for guest amenities need significant improvement. The bar closed at 10 p.m., yet some guests continued to be served while others were turned away, which was frustrating and inconsistent. At the pool, we were told the bar/restaurant opened at 10:30. It did, but the employee was still setting up and seemed bothered by our orders. Setup should be completed before the advertised opening time. The pool bar also didn’t serve Bloody Marys, so I was sent downstairs, where I was initially told the lobby bar didn’t offer walk-up service until 11 and that I needed to sit at a table—even though I had already ordered food at the pool. After speaking with the host, I was finally allowed to order. We also confirmed our late checkout both the night before and again that morning, yet our keys were deactivated while we were at the pool, leaving us unable to access our floor and requiring another trip to the lobby. For a hotel of this caliber, the guest experience should feel much more seamless and consistent.

I want to say to Derick, Thank you for going above and beyond. You are a phenomenal person! If you go to Atlanta, stay in this hotel. It is beautiful and it is such a relaxing atmosphere that includes TOP NOTCH personnel. Thanks to all who work there for making my chaotic trip a wonderful experience.

Hotel & Rooms were clean, and cozy, however, I got no sleep due to the trains constantly running outside of the room. ( this was a city view room)

I don’t think I would stay anywhere else in the area after my stay here.

Valet parking is $65 a night. Liability cost a night is $200. $200!! That’s a lot, especially for a long stay. There is “self parking” across the street. For some reason I was told it’s $9 a day but works out to be $50 a night. Much more worth over the hotel valet. Valet will make you feel like the self parking option is worrisome but it’s not. This hotel is in the center of venues, essentially meaning if there’s a lot of other events going on around this hotel, it is miserable to get an uber to get outside of this hotel. If you’re not planning to do much outside of walking distance, you’re good. If you’re eating downtown or going to a braves game, call an uber at least an hr earlier. The restaurant here is fantastic. I don’t need to stay here again for reasons I listed (i.e., too much venue traffic, high costs for a “high liability” area)

The place was very beautiful and all the house keepers were very friendly, helpful people

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The only downside was that the pool closed at 8:30 PM. We arrived around 7:30 PM after sitting in heavy downtown traffic from all the weekend events, so the boys didn’t get as much pool time as we hoped. But honestly, that was the only hiccup. Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel, the atmosphere, and the experience. The vibe was everything, and we will definitely be back.

Once everything was settled, the rest of my stay was absolutely perfect. Every staff member I encountered was warm, friendly, and eager to help. The hotel was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and every interaction made me feel like a truly valued guest. It's rare to find a hotel where every single team member consistently goes above and beyond, but Hotel Phoenix Atlanta does exactly that. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful day turn into such a memorable experience. I will absolutely stay here again and will happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Atlanta.
