Rodeway Inn Auburn Hills - Detroit

Pool had been closed for awhile. I planned on using it.

I read the reviews, some of them were OK, but others were very complementary, I don’t understand how that could be possible!! The property was awful across the board. I was actually fearful unpacking my car AND while parked directly across from my room’s door. Broken down cars on blocks, overflowing cigarette buckets outside every single door, etc, etc, broken safety lock on the door, no lightbulb on the light fixture right outside the door. So many relatively easy fixes to make guests feel better about their stay, none have been addressed. I was traveling with my daughter for her first concert and my dog. The room smelled horribly stale, old smoke, and something I couldn’t quite define. I had booked and paid for two nights, left as soon as it was light out after the first night. Luckily, we were able to find another room at another hotel, relatively close to our venue so the weekend wasn’t fully. Again, stay away from this place, it’s unsafe, and just downright disgusting!

Was cheap, get what you pay for

Didn't have breakfast, didn't stay overnight. My girlfriend and I wanted to go swimming and the pool was closed. Not cool. But the owner waived the early arrival fee of $20 off my bill to compensate for the pool not being available. The pool being available for us.

No complaints

They say they'll reimburse us in full, but we'll see. They didn't have the non-smoking room with king size that we paid for and instead tried to give us a smoking room with full size bed. The room looked dirty and the fridge had an open soda inside.

Also I was only able to use hot water in the bathroom sink.

I need a refund. I didn't even stay. The door didn't even shut all the way. It was so disgusting that I couldn't even take my belongings in. Nothing

The room was real spacious I liked everything

Good value for budget price and helpful staff.

The Ac was rolling staff were cordial, and the breakfast was indeed continental

The mattresses were so wore out that the springs stuck through the mattresses through the blankets and through the sheets The toilets were filthy The showers were filthy

Coffee station was Okay; with a wrapped pastry would make it Great! A secondary see through curtain for day time use.

The parking spaces and the way the room looks cheap

The price. But it comes at a cost It’s very old and outdated by 20 years. But they try. It is definite need of some more tlc

When I entered the room smelled musty and of cigarette smoke. The floor seemed swept but had paint marks. The linens were clean but upon inspection of the mattress it was disgusting- stained and must have been really old. However, no signs of bed bugs. The bathroom had been cleaned but the caulking and grout were cracked with rust stains I the tub, toilet and sink. The cost was low but I did not expect the conditions. I will not return and cannot recommend this motel.

Long way to the ice machine operator

Very clean room nice staff very quiet comfortable bed for this to be a Rodeway it was Definetly nicer than some inn or motels.

Pool was down

Good location. Clean property The first room I went to the hot water wasn’t coming thru the shower.
