Great location right in the heart of the CBD, making it easy to get around Auckland. The friendly and welcoming check-in included a lovely welcome gift for our 4-year-old, and the hotel has a modern, stylish feel throughout. The valet parking is quite expensive at $70, definitely the most expensive I’ve come across in Auckland so far. The beds and pillows were also very firm, which wasn’t really to my preference. I personally prefer something a little more plush and comfortable. The pool area and change rooms could use a little more attention. There wasn’t enough seating around the pool, and we didn’t see staff regularly checking or tidying the area. Used towels, cups and food were left around, making some seats appear occupied when they weren’t. The change rooms also needed more frequent attention, with towels and general mess left behind. For a hotel of this standard, I would expect the pool and changing facilities to be kept a little more immaculate.

Central Location Pool, gym, sauna and spa facilities were amazing Fantastic staff The TV in the room didn’t have movie or sports channels and it was lagging A LOT we expected better. And the $200 bond deposit required upon check in was not disclosed in the fine print considering we have stayed at the Novotel, Copthorne and Rydges and the price we book on here is the price we pay.
