Location to the city. And the breakfast. Nil

The room was clean and had all the amenities needed for a week nights stay. The QR code that they give when you check in works well for requesting any items you need. The staff at reception was fantastic with helping with anything you needed! The breakfast was also great, had different options with something for everyone, definitely a fan favourite with my family. We also had a van which there is parking at the front (especially if it has a high roof). Highly recommend!

We stayed at Rydges Auckland August (Winter) we found the staff friendly and accommodating. Hotel was in a great location, central to everything in Auckland. Our rooms were warm and beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom was clean. Valet parking was so convenient. Very delicious breakfast with lots of options. Could not complain about anything.

Good view; excellent breakfast (even though the toaster only did one side); helpfull staff We thought we were booked into 4.5 to 5 star. It was more like 4 Rydges implementation of "Going Digital" is very poor and ends up making finding some information impossible. Beacuse they have adopted "Going Digital" all printed info has been femoved from rooms, including the brochures from nearby attractions etc. which made "what shall we do today" a more difficult question to answer - especially as we had not been to the city for over 20 years. The new system uses Room TV based QR codes to provide info to be read on cell phones or laptops. The info is not formatted for phones and appears with very very small font - useless. They should hve ti digital info readble on the TV. The bathroom is poorly designed and the floor in the shower is slippery when wet (not just after using soap. Suffered a fall. Towel rails only adequate for 2 hand-towels and 1 folded bath towel. Nowhere to hang clothes while showering. Very loud music until 2330 on Friday night. We felt for the international ariline's crew who were i the hotel that night and flying out the next day. No zero-alohol wines available in dining room or bar.

Great location Little out dated

View of the Sky Tower from room. The buffet breakfast was very good. Big tv with great picture quality and had chrome cast. If your booking a twin room please note the beds are tiny and not big enough for two adults to share. House keeping forgot to supply us with any milk which was disappointing. Upu can still hear lots of noise from down in the streets even with windows closed. Wife dropped back off her earing and was searching and noticed under the bedside floor wasn't to clean. For four of us there was only two coffee mugs and two glasses. Did mention when checked out but didn't seem to care.

Location Access to room with a pram was terrible, the wait on an elevator was about 15 minutes each time we used it. A cot was not provided when it was requested in booking until asking, facilities for bathroom and kitchen equipment were dated and not so practical.
