Location OK. Be carefull requesting an early check in. We was charged $25 per hour for early check in even though the room was ready. Later we found the rest of our group had not had to pay 5 minutes later. We challenged why we had been charged and their explanation was because the room wasnt ready, which it was. Eventually we got our money back but it was not a good start, looks bad and seems to be the receptionist trying her luck to rip people off. It could be a "tourist charge" and they thought we were just on holiday to NZ. The receptionist who refunded us was polite but the one who checked us in was just rude, not interested and down right arrogant. I later found out she was the Manager which, based on her attitude, seems a bad choice.

The facilities The soap, before you had the rose smelling soap/conditioner lotion, now it's this weird smelling stuff which is gross

Good location and 24hr reception. The staff did their best regarding the situation and were professional and kind. The most uncomfortable beds. Large stain on floor of original room as well.

Superb

Comfortable room and bed. View on the restaurant but the room did not feel cramped or cut off from the outside. Ideal location with access to the central area of Downtown Auckland. Very ideal distance from the convention center. Staff were attentive to guests needs. Lobby has tables for work if needed for professional meet ups.

The roof top pool is always a winner with the kids and we love how spacious the 2 brm apartments are. We could chill out in our apartment without feeling we were on top of each other in between making use of the facilities. This is our second year staying there and hoping to do so again. There was no chrome cast in our room despite the tvs supposed to be chrome cast enabled. This was frustrating as we couldn't enjoy the likes of Netflix and Disney during our stay and they weren't able to sort it for us when we enquired.

Exceptional

Rooms are comfy and spacious. Good facilities especially the pools which the whole family enjoyed. The hotel valet parking was a great service considering being in the city and the prices of parking or trying to find parking near. Lovely staff!

We liked the pools, the view & the coffee. The old fridge, the tv didn’t go, no sound system?

Great location!! The room, was a bit "tired" marks on the carpet and peeling paint on the wall. I was cold in bed - as were the children - more blankets? The room divider was very difficult to move.

The room was nice and bigger than i had expected, was kept clean during our stay. The balcony was a bonus, the bed was comfortable, loved the comforter! had everything we needed, a standalone shower, bath tub for my wee family. big moveable tv that sways both into the room and the lounge area. having two swimming pools was brilliant, and the spa bath on the rooftop. defs be back again! thank you all that the chrome cast didn't work

Swimming pool and spa. Good value for money. Chromecast didn't work - neither did the replacement. Rooms are quite dated.
