The hotel description did not make it clear that we should have requested an interior/courtyard view. Our room was right on the streetcar line and was very loud and hot.

Location garage The mobile ac was not cooling enough terrrible night due to the heat wave I wanted to cancel but they promised mobile ac that was a joke

Furnishings were a bit dated, but my husband thought it was charming and authentic German decor.

The hotel is in a good position with a short walk down to the square. The tram passes by the hotel so you can get public transport into the centre. The hotel felt quite local and the room was very clean and in good condition. The shower was modern with plenty of hot water. The bed was large and very comfortable. Generally a good place to stay but make sure there is not a football match!! We had a problem....At 2.30 Friday morning what sounded like a gang of young men outside had broken into the hotel and were kicking down our door. I expected to see blue lights out side but the shouting and hammering went on for an hour. We knew there was no one from the hotel on the premises. We checked the internet and realised there was a football match between Hamburg and Augsburg and worked out these were football fans who we guessed were staying in the hotel. We slept in late and in the morning I asked at reception if they were intending to staff the hotel over Saturday night after the match. The lady on reception did not seem to see a problem. She gave me the phone number of a colleague who lived 600m away. She said they were just young men letting of steam and recommended if it happened again we should stay in our room! We were dreading the Saturday night but all was quiet. Hamburg lost and I think they went home. We probably over reacted but at the time we did not know what was happening. A bit of understanding from the management would have been nice. I bet they made a few Euros from the fans!

breakfast was nice - would be nice if they did to order fried eggs / scrambled eggs.... a bit noisy with all the road traffic just outside

The two women working at the front desk when I checked in were so warm and friendly, I felt immediately at home. I love my little room, and the window overlooking the central courtyard. I love the little bench at just the right height to put an open suitcase, so I don't have to live off of the floor! Breakfast was excellent. Honestly after 20 years of sleeping in a double bed by myself it's really hard to adjust to sleeping in a single/twin. I also can't understand how people sleep on these very lightly filled German down pillows. I ended up rolling up the quilt, and using it as a pillow instead.

The rooms and bathrooms are renovated not too long ago and look fresh and nice. The location is great as it is a short walk to downtown.
-
Decor a little dated but not objectionable.

The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. The room was spacious and comfortable, and parking was available just a short 2-minute walk from the hotel. Parking spaces were quite tight and required some caution, and the location is a bit farther from the main plaza and city center, though still manageable on foot.

Nice rooms, good beds. Bathroom big enough. Flexible to change dates. Breakfast 15 euros pp. no space in hotel parking. We had to pay commercial parking outside the hotel (27,50 euro), good to take into account before you book. Hotel didn’t ask us if we wanted/needed parking. Tram passes every 10 minutes (not between midnight and 6 am), makes some noise.

Great room location - could see the Leopold Mozart Museum, which we visited and were very impressed - stayed 2-1/2 hours! Breakfast was a great variety; staff at front desk and at breakfast was helpful and friendly. Will recommend to fellow travelers. Zero.

It’s a bit of a walk to the town center and train station. The place is really close to the train tracks—you can hear the noise, but not frequently.

Great location. Breakfast was poor and expensive.

Good location. Clean rooms + comfortable beds. Also really enjoyed the shower- was clean and easy to use the taps in the shower. I liked that you had the opportunity to choose a different pillow to suit your needs. The hotel itself was very nicely laid out and easy to get around. I also felt that the location was good- approximately a 10–15-minute walk into town. The parking spaces were very tight for the car we had + not a lot of options. It also wasn't explained to us at the start that it would cost a fee (we thought it was free). Very minor comment though! Would be great in future if that was explained up-front. Apart from that nothing to fault.

Very convenient for our needs. Cosy room. Clean. Nice spacious bathroom. Front desk very polite and helpful. Underground parking super. We did not notice the "pillow menu" until the morning as we were so tired. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Pity.
