Best Western Hotel Augusta

Great location For the price I paid: Subpar. The “Suite” was two queen beds right next to each other with the ugliest/cheapest furniture I’ve seen in years directly across from it, the parking garage wasn’t available, so I had to park around the block. The desk was some poorly made particle board abomination that stood about foot in front of the concrete wall. There was clearly work done with wiring and no one seemed to clean it up. One of the window handles was completely missing, but the other one opened, the bathroom had mold on the ceiling….overall: 2-3 of 10. The reception was a lovely and pleasant young woman….so, she added 2 stars just by being there.

The room was clean, comfortable. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Excellent service and great hospitality — I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had booked 2 rooms as there were 4 of us. The day we were to arrive, one of the people travelling with us had a medical emergency which landed them in the hospital for 5 days. We called to cancel one of the rooms and we were told that we could not cancel the room.

Breakfast was good. Room seemed clean. Location good. Beds were hard as rocks. Obviously cheap mattresses. Staff was indifferent or seemed inconvenienced.

We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Hotel Augusta! The family room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We loved having a separate sitting area that made it easy for everyone to relax. The location couldn’t have been better: right in the middle of the city center, so we could easily explore Augsburg on foot without needing the car. There was also a grocery store right next door, which was super convenient for grabbing breakfast and snacks in the morning. Overall, a great choice for families visiting Augsburg! Parking in the nearby garage is not the most convenient if you have a lot of luggage. Parking in front of the building is not as straight forward for unloading as it could be and once you are in the recommended garage you have to pay no matter what to exit or reenter.

The hotel has a good location only a few minutes walking of the center of Augsburg. It's professionally managed - the room was very large and clean. Breakfast was nice and sufficient. The bathroom in the very large room was (very clean but) rather small. The hotel does not provide an own parking place - public parking (garages) are available in about 3-5 minutes walking distance.

Perfect location of the hotel is perfect for tourists, because it is near the downtown and 16 minutes walk to the railway station. Everything was ok. But I was missing the fridge.

The hotel located in the heart of the touristic part of the city and it is nearby a supermarket which is very helpful in case you are staying in the weekend. In Sunday all shops are closed so being able to by some grocery on Saturday can be very convenient. The room is good, clean and comfortable. Parking is expensive 15 euro for night. No minibar service

Booked the family room, which was uniquely large for Europe. Nothing fancy, but did the job.

Very good central location. Very friendly staff. Heating in the room could not be turned off. Opening the window was not a good option because of the noise from the streets. Mini Bar was locked. Very limited parking on the premise and the Augusta garage close to the hotel was fully occupied. The next parking garage charged us 34€ for the overnight stay.

The front desk staff were exceptional!!! They were easy to talk too. And, both the woman there on check in and the guy we spoke too when checking out were GREAT!! Thanks for making our 1 night stay enjoyable!!!! NA
