City Hotel Ost am Kö

Very centrally placed hotel and still a quiet hotel room (top floor). Airconditioned big hotel room and very service minded staff. Parking nearby in public underground parking facility. Good breakfast. In the detail: room was a bit old fashioned - but everything was functioning.

Roaches in the main lobby and spider at the stairs. The room was dusty.

Excellent location in heart of city within walking distance of train station. Excellent breakfast. No evening dining but very helpful recommendation for a local Biergarten. Air con a must for heatwaves, which we can expect to experience more of with climate change now a reality. Nothing really. Rooms are compact but absolutely fine for a short stay.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Breakfast servers very attentive. Hotel is right on a main road down the street from the bus/train station and there is a ton of foot traffic outside and although German's are usually quiet after 10pm that is not the case here.

The breakfast had a good selection and was really good .Justin or closely similar name was our table attendant and was exceptional. He should be training employees at Nordstrom in the US when it comes to superior customer service . We stayed for 2 weeks visiting the Netherlands , Germany and Italy . He was by far the best hotel staff employee we encountered on our entire trip. Not having to do any steps to the top floor after getting off the elevator on the floor below .

Excellent location close to shops, restaurants, and the local city tram station. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful. I had some difficulties with the WiFi signal. I was trying to do a bit of remote work and my connection got dropped several times.

Very centrally located and the breakfast was beautifully displayed. The staff was lovely and the room we got overlooked a church, so the bells were really charming. Location was 5-star worthy! The hotel parking was tricky, but that was the only drawback, we did score a spot at least!
