Amainah Bacalar Hotel Boutique - Adults Only

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Amainah. From the moment you walk in, you can immediately feel the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The hotel offers some of the most beautiful views of the lagoon, perfectly showcasing its natural beauty and vibrant colors. Our room had a front facing view of the lagoon, and it was absolutely breathtaking. It was spacious, spotless, and had a pleasant natural wood scent that made it feel warm and inviting. The restaurant staff were exceptional. Jonathan and Jovanni were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Their service was outstanding, and the food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely return. We highly recommend Hotel Amainah to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with incredible views and outstanding hospitality.

The service and location was excellent. We liked the especially large rooms with balconies. The bathroom area/sink needs a partition to separate it from the sleeping area.

Location and the staff. Excellent vistas. 1.0 A little bit of noise from the road nearby. 2.0 Robe provision would be nice.

Staff is amazing and the food fantastic and very reasonable. In house massages were incredible and a great price. One of the most serene stays ever. Highly recommended Colibri sailing tour too.

The view from the rooms were amazing! I think every room has a view of the lagoon. Walking into the room after a long day and seeing the lagoon is a highlight. I am very thankful to the staff who were so attentive and welcoming, especially Jaer and Edgar! Jaer was amazing from the second I arrived. I also enjoyed the food, and the location was amazing. The cleaning could be better. No one wants to feel like someone was in the room previously even if they were. Unfortunately socks from a previous customer was left, there were stains on the floor especially the toilet, and it seems this was missed. I also think more things should be available for what customers have to pay. For example, being picked up from the airport, breakfast, or even a possible shuttle to the centre.

Great location with a great view of the lagoon. Nice staff. They have kayaks for free. Great for a sunrise kayaking. The WiFi is not stable

The property is breathtaking. Views all over the hotel are amazing and the direct access to the lake is a dream. The cocktails were excellent and the room was beautiful with a view like no other! A few things could be improved…. The property is a little further out, whilst this isn’t a huge deal as taxis are very easy and cheap, we appreciated other hotels offering bike rental as a complementary service. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the property and weren’t wowed by food. Likewise, coffee at the restaurant wasn’t great but you had to purchase coffee for the room after the first night stay. With these improvements, this would be the perfect stay. Nevertheless, these things wouldn’t stop us from returning to this magical place.

It's so close to the really pretty water. You can either kayak or walk to the beach . I didn't love the pool in our unit. It didn't stay clean, they should provide each unit with a small hand net and it was on a timer so we couldn't control the jets.

The hotel, staff and facilities were fantastic. Internet was spotty, low speed and unreliable. Beds were short and not very comfortable. Hot water was in short supply. None of that would stop me returning. The staff was great and we loved the place.

The humidity in the hotel was unbearable, and there were too many mosquitos. All these are things that the hotel obviously can't control.

It is very clean, beautiful views and every corner is better than the pictures of booking.com We loved everything.
