Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. Nothing I loved it

I The bed in room 11 was too hard. No one once asked any of us how our time was. We felt on our own.
-
We liked everything: the property, the restaurant, the pool, the view of the lake from, the attention of the staff. It is a great place to visit… for sure we will be back soon .
-
There are a lot of stairs, the pool are is quiete small if the hotel is full.

The view from the pool is amazing, the room is big and spacious. The location is not great. You have to take a taxi to get out, and the road to the hotel is a bit bumpy. There is no elevator, if you’re located in the rooms that are close to the lagoon, there’s a lot of steps to get there.
-
Clean lots of green plants awesome Road is very muddy and rough.

excelent location for a quite and relaxed stay , perfect for family time

A truly paradise
-
Everything, overall, the fact that we were there alone. It is kinda far from the town. It's best if you rent a car so you can really enjoy everything else.

The hotel is beautiful and in a peaceful and quiet place. Its dock and facilities right on the lagoon were perfect. The room is spacious and was really comfortable. The staff is super nice and helpful, we really had the best stay The only downside is the overpriced food at the restaurant and the fact that the hotel is distant from Bacalar center. We didn’t have a rental car and commuted with taxis, it was OK but a taxi into the center is 300 MXN so it made things a bit more complicated. I would recommend hiring a car/scooter and it will make your stay perfect

• Beautiful Property: The hotel is stunning and surrounded by nature—perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. • Spacious Rooms: Our room was large, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. • Delicious Food: The food at the restaurant was very good—especially the chilaquiles, which were among the best I’ve ever had. • Free Kayaks: A great amenity that allowed us to explore the lagoon at our own pace. • Quiet Atmosphere: The property is calm and quiet—ideal for disconnecting from the busy world. • Remote Location: About 20 minutes from Bacalar town by car, which makes it great for those looking to unwind away from crowds. • Restaurant Service: Service could be more attentive and organized. • Breakfast Confusion: We were told breakfast was included, but it turns out only a few items (basic eggs and simple pancakes) were covered. This was confusing and could easily be fixed by offering two separate menus—one for included items and one for additional options. • Beds: Just okay—not the most comfortable. • Remote Location: While peaceful, the hotel is far from town, which can be inconvenient if you’re hoping to be close to other restaurants, shops, or attractions.

The infinity pool ande the food The location

Property was very beautiful and well taken of. The bar and the pool was very nice and the thier lagoon section was clean to swim in. One of the best views in Bacalar. Staff was very friendly and professional. Must comment the manager Johnathan, he was extremely nice and professional and made us fell at home. Already planning another stay there! Highly recommend A bit too far from the roadside however that made it an adventure for us!

Rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable The breakfast and restaurant are not good at all! If you book a hotel which is remote location, then the food served must be excellent as people do not have other options. Menu has 7-8 options and half of that is not available. Ordered chicken and pasta dishes. It was very mediocre for the price we paid for hotels. In breakfast which was included offered only omelet and bottled juice and American coffee. Are you serious?

Excellent location, need a car or taxi to bring you in. The dirt road is perfectly fine for a sedan that we rented but make sure you use the road that they specify on their communications, the other roads are a bit rough. The hotel Facilities were extremely nice. No bed bugs like other reviews have mentioned but bear in mind that this is a tropical destination so you will find a lot of mosquitoes, bugs lizars and even an opossum if you leave food outside the room(but this is all part of the charm when you visit a tropical place like this so do not whine about local fauna. The room was perfect size and we got offered a crib for our baby girl. Note that they do not offer them when you come in as they are transition to an Adults only hotel. The pool was perfect, nice and cold to beat the heat. The access to the lagoon is top notch. By wife, baby and myself spent a whole day in the pier bungalow and it was pure bliss. The free kayaks are a great add in and we used them every day we were there. The service was excellent from everyone. Giovanny was a bit funky but he was a great guy and very accoommodating to everything in the restaurant. The restaurant. There are not that many options and for the beauty of the hotel, they owe it to themselves to have a better food offering. It is fine for a day or two, the portions are good, but after that, it does get old and a lot of the food options are fried, and we did need more healthy options. The included breakfast is simple but good, 2 eggs a bit of fried beans and some sauteed veggies, coffee and processed fruit juice. So just in general, improve the restaurant options and you have a 10/10 hotel.

Villa looked nice and view on lake was cool. BEDBUGS – We left with bedbugs, confirmed by a doctor. The hotel ignored my phone calls and WhatsApp messages. I have not received any apology or reaction from the hotel FOOD – 6 options menu (same for lunch & dinner). Dry tacos with no salsa/avocado. Receptionists admitted this was unmexican but offered no explanation. 8PM BAR & RESTAURANT CLOSED – No food or drinks after 8pm. Road to the village is unsafe, so you're stuck. BREAKFAST – Basic 3 options (plain eggs, chilaquiles, or pancakes with no toppings). Extra charges for refill coffee, water, or baby yogurt, despite "included" breakfast. Instagram photos were misleading. SERVICE – No Mexican hospitality. Extra charges for EVERYTHING. At checkout, they tried to force us to sign a waiver against writing a review. Refused, and they yelled about cameras (?!) Really not worth the price—avoid!

Pretty hotel, good facilities Basic breakfast, but good. Not many food options. Bar closes early. Access road can be uncomfortable and makes trip to Bacalar take longer
