Hotel Henry Inn

A lovely little oasis behind an unassuming front. Lovely garden with pool. Helpful host. Great location. A/C rooms- simple and clean.

Our family of 4 enjoyed the many comfy beds, the lovely pool area, the lush gardens, the dogs and cats, the endless drinking water. The staff were kind and helpful. She offered us umbrellas for our walk in the rain. When we came back from the lake with wet towels, she switched them with fresh ones. They showed us where a fridge was so we could keep drinks cold. They offered cookies and instant coffee. I recommend this hotel for budget and if you don’t mind a basic room. If I’m getting picky, they don’t clean the rooms which we don’t mind, but the rain splashed mud on the patio which tracked into the room and we really needed the inside and outside floor swept regularly.

Nice pool in a lovely garden (with all different kinds of birds), free bike rentals, big shared hotel fridge and coffee/tea at front desk. Super friendly and helpful Owner and Staff. Rooms are nicely serviced on request. Bacalar market is only one block away but main square and Lagoon is about 7 blocks. Hotel is on a noisy street. (It does quiet from 12am-6am.)

Wasn't aware that had to leave room key if you needed it cleaned.

We loved the location and the grounds. Felt very tranquil even though you are in the town. Easy to walk anywhere. Market and shops just north one block. The manager is so helpful and speaks good English. Ac was nice and cold. Nice pool. Clean and very kid friendly Room was a family room but was cramped. It was good for us because we were hardly in it.

Everything was great—friendly staff, nice facilities, a beautiful pool, indoor parking, pet-friendly, and very quiet. We really loved our stay! The only thing that could be communicated more clearly is that the hotel closes its doors at midnight. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s definitely important information for other guests to know in advance. Nothing really, the only thing to note is that since the hotel is located next to a busier road, you can hear some traffic noise in the room.

The location was great, we walked most places we wanted to go... the lake, main square, cafes bars etc. The inner courtyard and pool were an oasis from the hustle and bustle. Rafael was a charming and friendly host and assisted in parking guest vehicles safe behind the secure gates. Best shower pressure we've had in Mexico! The pool is open until 10pm, so bring your earplugs if you want an early night.

Friendly family run business! Room is a great size. Any question we had was answered happily and we enjoyed the property! Great location a couple of streets off the main area. Shower pressure was very weak.

Beautiful pool area with palm trees and comfortable lounge chairs Quiet Comfortable room Great location Pleasant and helpful staff Curfew from midnight until 6am (not really a problem for us, but people should be aware of it) We didn’t get a key to the main entrance and had to knock on the door every time we wanted to get in

Just stayed for 1 night. Outside area was nice Bathroom smelled a lot, the lock of one window was broken, you won't get a key for the main entrance so you have to knock everytime and wait sometimes for a couple of minutes

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Although there is no restaurant nor café there is no place to prepare food nor glasses or plates etc. If you have your own stuff there is also no place to wash it after use. Bicycles are in a quite bad condition but work somehow. The pipes are old and there is a quite bad smell in the bathroom.
