We loved every minute of our stay. The hotel is super clean and perfectly located close to everything. Communication was excellent, and the owner was incredibly helpful—she even gave us a ride! On top of that, she arranged a fantastic catamaran trip with a captain for us, which was a highlight of our vacation. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel !!

Location was great and the staff was very friendly. I adored the 2 cats that were at the hotel who were very sweet. The breakfast was very good albeit it not overly fast which was fine with me, just know that in case you have to leave to catch a tour or transport. Shampoo and conditioner were eco friendly which is great for the environment, unfortunately my hair doesn't love it. If you are similar pack your own shampoo with you. Wish that there was more space for toiletries near the sink and space to store clothes (had to leave in my bag for the whole time I was there)

What a fun place! And beautiful. From the minute you walk in the front door, you know this is a special place. The art, the plans (inside and out) the congenial dogs and cats, the games, books, sitting area.... The rooms are just large enough and the beds quite comfortable. TV service is good. Daily cleaning is non-intrusive. They help you with finding restaurants, taking tours, booking transportation.... We spent a delightful week there and highly recommend it. No hot water! The water in the shower never reached more than slightly tepid.

This hotel has great location, parking is on the street. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Pablo gave us really good suggestions where to eat and what local food to try! There was really beautiful garden and whole area is very artistic as Italian owner Marco decorated it. His wife takes really good care of whole property. We had room in the ground floor with little terrace in the middle of beautiful garden with pool. Everything was great, just the room was dark and pretty humid, it had also pretty humid smell. Obviously we should use air conditioning which we hadn’t because temperature was great and didn’t want A/C to blows whole night.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay, free coffee in the lobby, wonderful rooftop and courtyard, 2 cats to play with, very comfortable beds, location is as good as it gets in Bacalar—5-10mins walk from almost every destination of interest, but off the beaten path enough to be quiet. Sink drain pipe leaked my first night, after arriving late—but staff got it fixed very quickly the next morning.

Faultless stay! We enjoyed every day/night here of our 10 day stay. This family-owned hotel is simply wonderful and perfectly set up for a remote work stay. Without question, we would stay here again. Nothing!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. Friendly staff, beautiful property, hot showers, and comfy beds. Would stay again.

Really helpful and fun staff. Would have liked to stay longer. Great restaurants nearby. But then nothing is too far away. We didn’t do the breakfast, just wanted morning coffee.
