Hotel Naomi

It is a short walk to all the shops and restaurants and most importantly the lagoon. Nothing wrong with the proper. But a block away they were partying until 7 am. Like I said property management can’t do anything about this.

It was very nice. The customer service was excellent! Really clean, adequate towels. Liked it so much we added an extra day in Bacalar. I didn’t like the key/lock situation. It was a little tricky to get into the room but it was very secure!

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive in their service. It was a bit noisy at night as guests settled into their rooms, which can be a bit disruptive for those trying to rest. I understand that it’s part of the atmosphere, but it might have been challenging for some to find peace during that time.

4 % commission for paying with credit card, no chance of check-in earlier than 3 p.m., extra small bed 1,30 m width, and an extra bed that nobody used, a great balcony, def. our first and last stay but near to downtown !

Nice small hotel in a great city centre location. Also not far from the lagoon. Comfy beds, good aircon, shower with free toiletries There was a bad smell from the drains, it was ok once you use the drain cover. We had a few rooms, the king was great with a balcony but some other rooms only have a window to the corridor. The double beds felt small

Absolutely perfect location, very short walk to town square. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice room, quite clean and modern. Rooster crowing early in morning — not a complaint, actually enjoyed it (some might not though)

Superb

Great new looking hotel in the center of town, helpful staff until almost midnight. 2min walk to the main Plaza. Internet a bit spotty in the evening but not for long. Room had a smell when we first came in but disappeared then.

Location is ok. During our stay in the hotel, the second night the hotel went in black out. Air conditioning, toilet and all the other commodities shut down with +30-35 C outside. Taking into account there were no windows from the room pointing outside of hotel (be careful about it, there are 2 rooms like this, with windows pointing to CORRIDOR), it was a tough night to go through and very challenging morning. Hotel put no efforts to ease the situation and refused any kind assistance or reimbursement.

The location was great. The room was very dark because the window is not looking outside but in the corridor!So you can't even have the blinds open because people are walking by! The bathroom was smelly but so are the streets and every bathroom in the restaurants in Bacalar so there is probably a problem in the town.

Location: close to restaurants, two blocks from main park. The room was pretty good and clean Very noise at night. People coming mid night making a lot of noise, turning on the light outside. They should install blackout shades in the windows

Very good location, flexible check-in, clean and thoughtful with some bottles of water put everyday in the fridge Unfortunately we had a bad episode during our stay with people from another room putting super loud music very late night so, having somebody from the staff on site would have been good

Location was great— staff was helpful and patient. Strong wifi signal, smart TV with all the streaming stations, amazing A/C. Water in the fridge. The sewage smell coming from the bathroom was often overwhelming. No window in room except a small one in bath. Stains on the sheets and blood on the mattress pad. I think they were clean but who knows? Would have liked a cup/glass or something to drink out of. No hot water on my last morning.

Great location , very close to the center, good value for the money spent. No elevator, needs to do more cleaning
