Abdullah and Mohamed were also very attentive during their shifts and took great care of us. Nahid is a very kind and helpful person, thanks for being a good person and Farida made our breakfast experience feel luxurious—she is a lovely lady. The hotel itself is very neat, clean, and well-maintained. Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, with Nizami Street, Baravo Restaurant, and many other restaurants all within walking distance. Highly recommended!

The old building has very very high ceilings. Interesting design. The hotel is only on the one floor, on the 4th floor, I think… no elevator. I didn’t have much luggage, but if you have roller board bag you will be straggling to get upstairs. I came a little before checking time and the reception person was rushing the cleaning lady to clean, so the room would be available for me asap. I was saying I don’t mind to wait, I understand that the previous guests just left. They didn’t pay attention to those words and rushed the cleaning to the point, that the bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all, the room was dusty, seems like for some time, including the carpet. It felt like all that was done they changed the bedding. I would rather wait and get my room properly cleaned, than get in within 15 min of arrival in to not cleaned room. At the end of my stay they asked for a review. I said the room is dirty. They said: well, the building is very old. It’s true, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be cleaned.

Overall it's very decent considering what you pay. Location is of course superb. Very basic necessities and a working AC. They even offer water and a toiletry kit I experienced what I consider to be a major inconvenience upon trying to access my room after I had already checked in. The hote floor is only accessible via interphone located downstairs. When I attempted to access the building at about 8PM on the night of my stay, no one was answering the interphone and no one was picking up the phone when I called. After 30 minutes of waiting and continuous calling, I piggy backed into the building behind one of the residents. I went by the front desk later and there was still no one there. The management later apologized and explained that the front desk agent was helping another customer. I understand that sometimes it's impossible to man the front desk 24/7 and I would have been fine waiting downstairs for a couple of minutes. However if there is no one to answer the interphone for 30+ minutes, there absolutely has to be a process to let paying guests in, maybe give them the interphone lock code or something like that. Among hundreds of hotels and guest houses I've stayed in, I've never seen anything like that

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a good location. The staff were kind and professional and helped me with everything from local recommendations to arranging transportation. The atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing throughout my stay. Great value for money and I would happily stay here again. Nothing major honestly. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. Maybe a little more breakfast variety could make the experience even better, but everything else was great.

I liked the location it was very centrally located and everything was in walking distance and very easily reachable. The staff were very helpful and the room fit us very easily. There was plenty of space to sleep and hold our stuff. The beds weren't the most comfortable but for the price and location it was fantastic value.

Location: Super! The location could not have been better. It was perfectly situated for exploring the city, with easy access to main attractions, restaurants, and public transport. It was both convenient and in a pleasant area. Staff: Honestly wonderful. The staff were the highlight of my stay. They were not only professional but also genuinely warm and helpful. From the reception to the housekeeping, everyone was honest, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable visit. Cleaning: Very good. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping team does an excellent job. The bathroom was spotless, the linens were fresh, and the entire room had a very hygienic and pleasant atmosphere. Overall Experience: My one-night stay was extremely positive. The room was comfortable, the WiFi was strong, and the amenities provided were great. It offered exceptional value for money. I would not hesitate to choose the Elysium Hotel again on my next trip to Baku and would highly recommend it to other travelers. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice location. Not the cleanest hotel during our stay in Azerbaijan. The breakfast lady is sweet, event though she doesn’t speak English. Staff is not the friendliest, but they’re helpful. Breakfast limited.

The location and price The guy there carried my 20kg bag up and down the stairs, I think his name was Ilygium or something similar Its on the second floor and there is no elevator

1. I like all the the staff who are always helpful. 10 out of 10 from me. Special thanks to Elgan for making arrangements to fix my faulty luggage. 1. I never like a place where there is no lifts. However, the staff are always there to give you a hand.

The value was terrific which made up for breakfast not being included and it being a third-floor walk-up. I would definitely stay there again. The clerks were personable and very helpful, all was clean and quiet. Well-done.

Location is superb, everything important for tourists is super close. Service is awesome. Facilities are fine for the price, just don't expect international hotel chain level of comfort. The hotel is on the 3rd floor, so if don't like cardio this can be troublesome.

The location was exceptional. Right in the heart of Baku. However my best experience was Elgan who took care of me from the time I arrived until I left. He was amazing. He also gave me a run down of all the sights and how to get there and what to see. One of the days he even prepared my breakfast because I was leaving early for a tour. He is a precious treasure to this hotel. Hold on strongly to him. Nothing. Everyone is great

Best experience ever. I had the chance to meet Ergun and Amin at the reception every day. They are the most helpful gentlemen you’ll ever meet. Location is perfect. Room very large and clean. Check in start at 2pm but I came at 5 in the morning and they happily accepted me, made me feel comfortable. They even offered me breakfast before the check in. Just amazing people working there. The breakfast lady makes delicious breakfast fresh every day. The experience is worth more than a 5 star hotel. I’ll definitely return again
